Ama no Iwaya

This rock cave is located within the grounds of Futamiokitama-JinjaShirine, and is said to be the ruins of Sannomiya Shrine, which was dedicated to Uganomitama no Okami, who is said to control rice.
There are places throughout Japan called `` Amanoiwato'' and ``Ama no Iwaya,'' and this is one of them, and is said to be one of the places where Amaterasu Omikami is hidden (the place where the sun sets).
