FutamiuraBeach is the first public beach in Japan that was opened in 1896.
It is a popular beach with long stretches of white sand that has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 beaches. The water is shallow and the waves are calm. It is crowded with many people, from small children to the elderly.

・Use of fire outside of the rest house is strictly prohibited. (Barbecues and fireworks on the beach or in the forest are prohibited)
・Marine sports other than beach volleyball and playing on the shore are prohibited.

・Closed when a wave warning is announced.
*You can freely go in and out of FutamiuraBeach Beach even when the beach is not open.
