A popular low mountain climbing spot located in Kirihara, MinamiiseTown.
You will arrive at the observation plaza in about 20 minutes on foot from the parking space at Kentoge.
It is a mountain with an altitude of 426m, and you can see the Pacific Ocean spreading out in front of you, Ago Bay in ShimaCity to the southeast, and the mountains of Kii to the southwest.
You can also spend some time relaxing at the observation plaza.
The opposite side of Mt. Yatsune from Kentoge is the route to Mt. Kyoro, which is also a low mountain climbing spot, so if you are confident in your physical strength, you can enjoy both. .
There are several origins of Mt. Yatsunegi; one says that it came from the eighth Negi, Watarai Tomomichi, in the Jingu Sengu Chronicle of the late Heian period, and one says that it came from the eight Negi who came from IseJingu long ago. It is said that the name came from the people who climbed here and admired the varied scenery of the inner bay and the open ocean.
You can climb the mountain with sneakers, but it's a mountain trail after all, so make sure to wear clothes that are easy to move in.

From IseCity, take the Sanko bus via Sunny Road, get off at Kirihara bus stop, and walk about 180 minutes.
Get off at Tamaki IC on the Ise Expressway and drive for about 50 minutes via Sunny Road.
