This shrine is located across the Kushida River from oka Station on the JR Kisei Main Line.
Shawa is a town that flourished with ``Ise Oshiroi'' made from niu mercury.
The ``Shawa Gion Festival'' is held in the summer, and this traditional festival has been designated as an intangible folk cultural property by the prefecture, and is crowded every year.
In addition, the ``Wooden Seated Jizo Bodhisattva Statue'' in the collection has been designated as a national important cultural property.
