Located on the upper reaches of the Takigawa River, it is especially beautiful during the wisteria flowers and autumn leaves season.
Fudo Myoo is enshrined nearby, and the area is crowded with people seeking cool air in the summer and enjoying the autumn leaves in the fall. There are stone steps leading up to the waterfall, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
There is a legend that a long time ago at Shirafuji-no-takiFalls, a brave man named Sadatsugu killed a large lizard that was about 2 lengths (6.6 meters) tall.
