掲載日:2018.03.19

Aquaignis is a comprehensive resort of healing and food located in Yunoyama Onsen, KomonoTown Mie Prefecture. Cleanse your fatigue with morning yoga and Kataoka Onsen, and recharge with delicious food prepared by famous chefs and strawberry picking! Aquaignis is a stylish hot spring resort that you can easily go to, recommended for girls' trips ♡

◆Kintetsu train is convenient for getting to Aquaignis.
``Let's forget about work and refresh ourselves with hot springs and morning yoga!'' So we decided to take a girls' trip to Aquaignis, which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Nagoya!
From Nagoya Station, take the Kintetsu train, change at Yokkaichi Station, and get off at Yunoyama Onsen. I rushed there after work and was able to arrive before daylight. It's only 2 minutes by taxi or bus or 8 minutes on foot from the station.

arrival! The lovely exterior is reminiscent of an art museum. At the entrance, you are welcomed by the work of artist Mai Miyake. Too cute ♡

Not only the exterior but also the interior looks like a work of art, with a circular bench that expresses the swaying of the water surface, and pendant lights that look like raindrops and stars. You can feel the good taste in every corner.

◆Start your girls’ trip with dessert♡
After checking in, we first enjoyed a welcome dessert of ``Confiture Ash'' by pastry chef Hirohiro Tsujiguchi.

The large open kitchen is stocked with cakes, baked goods, confitures, and more made with seasonal fruits and local ingredients. When it first opened, there were long lines every day and people talked about how difficult it was to buy something, but even now, five years later, it's still as popular as ever on Saturdays and Sundays. If you're staying overnight, you can buy souvenirs at Sokko the next morning when it's open and leave them at the hot spring front desk.

What do you think of these bright and beautiful sweets? ! As Chef Tsujiguchi says, ``the ultimate in local production for local consumption,'' all of the sweets are made with groundwater from the Suzuka Mountains, and the strawberries are freshly picked from ``TSUJIGUCHI FARM.'' These sweets are truly a pastry chef's ideal. .
Ripe strawberries with high sugar content, which are not often available on the market, can be purchased here in super fresh condition in just 30 seconds from the house. Isn't this the ultimate luxury that celebrities can enjoy?

◆Enjoy conversation♪Exquisite Italian dinner
Can't wait! For dinner, head to Chef Masayuki Okuda's Sala Bianchi Al Kecciano.
Speaking of Chef Okuda, he is a super chef who has been selected as one of the ``1,000 Chefs of the World.'' Based on the concept of "local production for local consumption," the restaurant is known for its dishes that bring out the full flavor of ingredients from local producers.

We enjoyed plenty of Italian cuisine, starting with fried bread-style gnocco fritto, two appetizers, risotto with mushrooms, fish dishes, pasta, meat dishes, and desserts!

The way to enjoy Okuda-style Italian cuisine is to "cook in your mouth," where various ingredients and seasonings prepared in various ways are arranged on one plate, and you finish the dish with your own mouth. Add wasabi greens to a salad using Spanish mackerel, or make a risotto oyaki-style, or create a more unique flavor by combining it with Japanese cuisine ♪ Wine goes too far... ♡

◆Kataoka Onsen, a famous hot spring that creates smooth and beautiful skin
Kataoka Onsen, which has long been famous as a famous hot spring, is a popular hot spring that uses 100% free-flowing water from the source drawn from 1,200 meters underground without adding water, heating, or circulation.
The spring quality is a simple alkaline hot spring, and it is said to be a beauty bath that removes unnecessary dead skin cells and makes your skin smooth. The hot water is moderately thick and soft, and has an elegant feel with a slight sulfur smell. The hot spring water really feels like a hot spring, and it feels so smooth on your skin ♡

This is sure to be a repeat!

There are three types of open-air baths located in the bamboo forest, and you will forget the passage of time.
Hot spring for open-air bath? The open-air area is spacious and has plenty of room. At night, the bamboo forest stands out in the darkness, creating a mysterious atmosphere. In the morning, the bamboo forest sways against the blue sky, creating a refreshing view. Both are lovely.

◆In the guest room, we chat until dawn♪
The rooms in the accommodation building are traditional inn style (8 tatami Japanese-style rooms). Prices start from 13,200 yen per adult, including one night and two meals (two people occupying one room). At night, I lie down on my futon and enjoy the girls' talk.

The amenities are like this. They also have slippers, but I like the tabi socks.

oh! ? From here on...

This was it! An organic detached lodge with an open-air bath designed by four artists, using naturally dried domestic wood such as cedar, pine, chestnut, and cypress. Prices start from 36,200 yen per adult, including one night and two meals (two people occupying one room). Apparently they are fully booked up to six months in advance.

This is "chestnut". This room is located on the mezzanine floor and has a three-dimensional feel, giving it a very celebrity feel. Watch a movie on a projector in the private open-air bath, hugging a chestnut-shaped cushion. Enjoy a quiet evening.

◆Morning yoga class to wake up your body
After warming up my body in the hot springs, I went to the morning yoga class that I was looking forward to this time. Guests can use it for 500 yen (1,000 yen for "bathing + yoga" for day-trippers).
Guided by the instructor's gentle voice, you will gradually awaken every part of your body.

According to the instructor, ``We combine about 20 poses, ranging from quiet movements to slightly harder ones, to create a structure that allows you to wake up calmly and get off to a refreshing start.''
I'm a beginner, so I can't say anything special, but by consciously moving my muscles and joints in time with the rhythm of my breathing, I felt like I was awakening to every detail.

I was sweating on the way, but I cooled down and finished.
At the drink counter behind the front desk, I purchased the healthy juices ``Orenjin'' (carrot + orange juice) and ``Aonapple'' (green juice + apple juice).
I don't like vegetable juices, but this one was easy to drink and delicious. Increase your feminine power! Did you do it?

◆Unlimited selection of stone oven bread! Plenty of breakfast too
For breakfast, choose your favorite bread from the breakfast fee at the stone oven bakery ``Mariage de Farine'' and receive your breakfast set at the casual Italian restaurant ``Il Kecciano Miele.''
Japanese food is OK for breakfast, and you can also exchange the breakfast cost for bread.

All of the breads are baked in a stone oven using domestically produced wheat, and all of them look so delicious that I can't help but wonder. By the way, this is roughly the cost of breakfast. Even if you exceed the amount, you just have to pay the difference. So, the pattern continues to increase, including souvenirs...

◆Enjoy the sweet "strawberries" made with carefully selected cultivation methods.
After breakfast, I headed to TSUJIGUCHI FARM, a strawberry farm run by popular pastry chef Hirohiro Tsujiguchi, just to replenish my dessert supply.
Inside the house, it's very warm and you can experience an early spring. If you're into it, you'll sweat, so we recommend wearing clothes that you can take off and put on.

It is ready to eat when the stem is curled back and the top is completely red. The secret to high sugar content is to use hot spring heat to warm the soil and roots, maintain a high carbon dioxide concentration in the greenhouse to promote photosynthesis, and use organic fertilizers to absorb amino acids and water-soluble carbohydrates from the roots. That's what it means. That's why you can make whole sweet strawberries!

What do you think of this huge grain? When you bite into it, the overflowing fruit juice spreads in your mouth.
Mmm, so sweet! I can't stop eating snacks.

These are the four types of strawberries grown in greenhouses. ``Akihime'' has a low acidity and is easy to feel sweet, ``Benihoppe'' has a good balance of sweetness and acidity and is also used as an ingredient in cakes, ``Tokun'' has a peach scent, and is rich in vitamins. "Hey C Berry."
*Momo Kaoru and Oi C Berry may not be available for strawberry picking.

◆Do you notice? Interesting points about Aquaignis
This information display is a distinctive feature of Aquaignis. Regarding the information about "toilet", do you understand what this means? You know that prams are for babies, and chairs with wheels are for people with disabilities. But what exactly do the upper left and lower right refer to?

This is the information in front of the "women's restroom".
If you look closely, you can see the word "WELCOME" on the hairpin! That thing in front of the woman was also on that information board.

This is for men. Hey, this is the key.

Another toilet looked like this! Yes, ``key'' meant male, and ``lock'' meant female. Naruhodo, is that what you mean...!

Now to the problem.
It is said that a gecko is a guardian deity that protects the home, but where in Aquaignis is this child?

The answer is… Enjoy it locally!
The appeal of Aquaignis is that it has this kind of playfulness.

This trip made my heart flutter with the popular restaurants, hot springs for beautiful skin, relaxing nights, and beautiful morning views. The fatigue from daily work was completely relieved and I was able to recharge my energy for the next day! Aquaignis is a stylish hot spring resort that you can easily go to, recommended for girls' trips ♡
*Chef Tsujiguchi's ``Tsuji'' is correctly written as ``Ichiten Shinnyo''.
*Prices listed are as of the date of coverage. (Interview date February 2018)
