An exhibition entitled "Exploring the Roots of the Piano" is being held at the Komono Piano History Museum, an experiential facility where you can not only see but also play precious pianos.
What changes has the piano, a percussion instrument, undergone to evolve into the piano we know today?
Learning that the piano was created under the influence of percussion, keyboard, and string instruments, and that piano playing changed from court music centered on the aristocracy to performances in larger, more open halls, will enable you to look at the evolution of the modern piano from a different perspective.

During the period, there will be various events where you can experience things like concerts on Baroque instruments, various lectures, and comparing classical and modern pianos.
