In general, rhododendrons are plants in the Ericaceae family that bloom in colors such as red, magenta, and white from April to May.
Flowers of these three colors mainly grow in clusters within the grounds of Fukamizo Shinmeisha Shrine, and can be seen not only from within the grounds but also from the surrounding roads.
Rhododendrons are said to be trees of longevity, and with the cooperation of local residents, they have begun planting them in hopes of longevity and health, and there are currently about 500 rhododendrons. There are varieties such as ``Taiyo'' and ``Kidune'' and can be enjoyed from mid-April to mid-May every year.
