[Recruiting Participants] VISON Pintxos Contest Online Reservations OK

VISON will be holding the "San Sebastian City x TakiTown Friendship Festival in VISON" from November 4th to 6th.

We will hold the "VISON Pintxos Contest" so that everyone can easily experience and become familiar with San Sebastian's food culture. We look forward to your participation! Please feel free to enter.

[Contest schedule]
Application: Apply using the form at the bottom of the page by October 24th.
First screening: Document screening
Primary results announcement: October 25th
Final contest: November 3rd from 13:00 to 15:00 (scheduled) Venue: IZURUN (HotelVison 10th floor)
Winner Award Ceremony: November 4th 17:00-19:00 (tentative) Venue: Dining Hall Wavison

[Application conditions]
・Those who can participate in the contest on November 3rd and attend the award ceremony on November 4th
・Each person may submit up to one work.
Please feel free to apply regardless of whether you are a professional or amateur.

“EGUN ON” 1 Basque cheese tart voucher
[Second prize for winning]
"Hotel Vison" Pair accommodation ticket (includes bar eating coupon)

[Work content]
・Finger foods and small plates that can be eaten in one or two bites.
・Japanese, Western, or Chinese does not matter.
・Create pintxos using local (Mie prefecture) ingredients.
・For the final round, you will be required to create works for 5 people. Please note that applicants must prepare their own ingredients.

In addition, in the final round, you will be asked to explain the ingredients and introduce cooking methods.
We will judge the entries based on taste, ideas, and communication with the judges.

Venue: IZURUN (restaurant in HotelVison)
Regarding cooking: Please prepare your food in advance and bring it in, and we will arrange final touches such as plating on site. For cooking, you can use IZURUN's cooking space.

Three chefs who are popular bars in San Sebastian and also have stores in Vison will participate in the judging.
