We will introduce some events that you can enjoy to the fullest in Mie Prefecture during the second half of this year's Golden Week holidays.
Mie Prefecture is expected to enjoy good weather over the four-day holiday starting on May 3rd!

Matsusaka Agricultural Park BellFarm Golden Week Bell Festa (MatsusakaCity)

Date: May 3rd (Friday, national holiday) - May 6th (Monday, national holiday), 2024
Golden Week Bell Festa is a festival of food and culture! It will be held to express our gratitude for the 20th anniversary of the opening of the park. There will be a "health and education stamp rally" to commemorate the 20th anniversary, a market, a food menu using local ingredients, food trucks, daily experiences, and the Matsusaka beef gourmet that you definitely want to try! There will be a lot of different things to enjoy every day. Advance reservations are required and there will be limited items, so don't miss out!

Mini Aquarium for Kids and Beetle Exhibition at Matsubishi (TsuCity)
Location: Matsubishi Department Store, 6th floor event space (4-10 Higashimarunouchi TsuCity)
Date: Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 to Monday, May 6th (National Holiday)
Matsubishi will feature a total of more than 30 types of creatures, including approximately 10 types of sea creatures that children normally don't get to see, and approximately 20 types of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles from around the world. This is a rare opportunity to see live creatures right in front of you.

Get a head start on enjoying the indoor children's pool! Get ahead of summer at Nagashima Spaland! Make your pool debut at Nagashima! We recommend "Warm Spa Kids."
*This is a special operation only in the "Spa Kids" area, which is different from the summer operation. Intended for children up to third grade of elementary school and their parents.

Let's go to the spring festival! Lots of carp streamers! (TsuCity)
Location: Mie Prefectural Cultural Center (1234 isshinden TsuCity)
Date: Thursday, April 25th, 2024 to Monday, May 6th (National Holiday)
Koinobori (carp streamers) will be displayed at the Festival Square and Knowledge Square of the Mie Prefectural Cultural Center (Soubun). Colorful carp streamers donated by people from inside and outside the prefecture will color the spring blue sky all at once. Carp streamers will also be appearing on the walkway above the indoor main entrance! Carp streamers will swim energetically down the walkway, which has been specially decorated to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the center.

Miekodomonoshiro Castle Festival 2024 (TsuCity)

Date: May 3rd (Friday, national holiday) to May 5th (Sunday, national holiday), 2024
There will be events that you can enjoy all day long, such as "Insect Coloring Stadium" where you can battle with pictures of insects that you have painted yourself on a big screen, "Animal Rolling Park" where you can play indoor mallet golf with special crafts and fun gimmicks. There will also be a planetarium, a full-dome movie screen, a climbing wall, and a playground!
In addition to these, there are plenty of other spots and events perfect for Golden Week outings, such as VISON, TobaAquarium, Nabananosato illuminations, OyatsuTown, Okage-yokocho, and more!
