Red Hill Heather Forest (Akatsuka Botanical Garden)

It is a satoyama garden where you can enjoy over 1,000 varieties of rhododendrons and over 10,000 flowering trees and seasonal flowers. The approximately 70,000㎡ park has a ``Forest Area'' that takes advantage of the undulating topography of Satoyama, and a ``Flower Area'' where flowers of the four seasons are in full bloom. The symbol tree is Semper Sequoia (also known as redwood), which is called ``the world's tallest tree,'' and the forest area is lined with large redwood trees that give it an exotic and refreshing feel.

MatsusakaCity Cultural Properties Center “Haniwakan”

There is a permanent exhibition of boat-shaped haniwa clay figures (nationally designated important cultural properties) excavated from the Takarazuka Tomb. The gallery, which utilizes the former Kanebo Cotton Thread Matsusaka Factory cotton thread warehouse (nationally registered tangible cultural property) built in 1923, is used as a place for local citizens to engage in artistic activities. In 2024, 278 haniwa clay figures excavated from Takarazuka Tomb No. 1 in Mie Prefecture were designated national treasures. Otaki Gorge Campsite

Currently undergoing renovation work. This campsite is located on the banks of ouchiyama, which winds its way through huge rocks. The site features log cabin bungalows, a forest campsite, a waterwheel, and a fountain, allowing you to enjoy camping surrounded by greenery. In spring, the area is bathed in beautiful cherry blossoms.

Iejo line

kumozu, which originates from the Takami Mountains in the distance, meanders through the Hakusan Plateau, creating a beautiful valley. This is a 68km loop course from JR Iejo Station that continues from downstream to Setogase (Setogabuchi), Kobuyu, Hokigase, Nagatoro, Kamagabuchi, Iwafune, and Sarugase.

Sixty Hiro Falls

This is a famous waterfall that falls into the Minogaya valley on the shores of Miyagawa Dam Lake. This waterfall was discovered during the Muromachi period, and when a net was lowered from above the waterfall and measured, it was found to be about 60 fathoms*, which is why it was named "60 fathoms waterfall." In addition, the area around Miyagawa Dam Lake, which is also the trailhead for Osugidani, allows you to enjoy walking while taking in the scenery that changes with the seasons. *Fathom is a unit of length. It is the length of your outstretched arms.

In the fallow fields south of Seki Station, cosmos flowers are in full bloom from early to mid-October. They are natural growths that have blossomed from seeds grown last year, so although they are small in size, they are still enjoyable. saikuu 's Cosmos

The cosmos at saikuu are usually in full bloom from mid-October to early November. The cosmos fields are located from ItsukinomiyaHallforHistorical on the north side of Kintetsu saikuu Station to the area around Saiku Heian Shrine. There are multiple fields where cosmos are planted, but the fields change from year to year. Cosmos field at ASPIATamaki Agri

This cosmos field is managed by "Furusato Aji Kobo Agri," a farm shop located in ASPIATamaki. The best time to see the flowers is usually from mid-October to November. The cosmos blooms in full glory across the roughly 20-acre field, and there is a walking path and a "white swing" for taking commemorative photos.
