MatsusakaCity Cultural Properties Center “Haniwakan” Matsusaka City Cultural Properties Center “Haniwakan”
We have a permanent display of ship-shaped clay vessels (nationally designated important cultural properties) excavated from the Takarazuka Tumulus.
The gallery is housed in the former Kanebo Cotton Yarn Matsusaka Factory Cotton Yarn Warehouse (a nationally registered tangible cultural property) built in 1920, and is used as a place for citizens' artistic activities.

Detailed information
From JR/Kintetsu Matsusaka Station
Take the Suzu no Oto bus (urban circulation bus) and get off at “Kuragi Bunka Hall”.
Take the Mie Kotsu bus (bound for Matsusaka Chuo Hospital) and get off at “Bunka Kaikan-mae” and walk for about 1 minute.
Take the Mie Kotsu bus (Asaka Ono Line) and get off at “Bunka Kaikan Minami”
Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Matsusaka Station
Approximately 7 minutes by car from Ise Expressway Matsusaka Interchange
