Kayumi Ijiri Ruins (Japan's oldest clay figure) Kayumi Ijiri Iseki (Japanese Saikonodogu)
In 1996, a nearly complete clay figurine from the early Jomon period, believed to be Japan's oldest, was discovered. It attracted attention from all over the country as a great clue for understanding the lives of people and the state of society at that time.

From JR/Kintetsu Matsusaka Station, take the bus bound for Iidaka Regional Promotion Bureau for about 40 minutes and get off at Kagumi Shrine.
Approximately 30 minutes by car from Matsusaka IC on the Ise Expressway via National Route 166
