The historic Sanmon gate and the scenery of the four seasons
The temple's fortunes flourished due to the large number of followers of the Kii Tokugawa family. The Sanmon gate became a town-designated cultural property on December 8, 1994. It is famous for its zazen dojo in the summer, vegetarian cuisine, and the autumn leaves on the grounds.
