Tourist spots in Mie Prefecture appear in the opening scene of the popular anime program "Sazae-san", which is broadcast every Sunday at 6:30 pm on the Fuji TV network! This time, we will introduce nine spots that will be broadcast in the autumn edition (October to December 2016), along with maps. IseJingu Kotaijingu Shrine Naiku (IseCity)

About 2,000 years ago, during the reign of Emperor Suinin, Kotaijingu has been located on the banks of the Isuzu River. It enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, the ancestor of the imperial family and revered like Amaterasu-Omikami by our people.
Once you cross UjibashiBridge, which is the entrance to Naiku, and proceed down the long approach paved with gravel, you will find yourself in a sacred precinct. The original scenery of Japan, known as the "hometown of the heart," spreads out here.

GozaishoRopeway (Komono Town, KomonoTown)

One of the largest ropeways in the world, with a total length of 2,161m, a height difference of 780m, and a 12-minute aerial walk. Tokaido Sekijuku (KameyamaCity)

TheAkame48Falls (NabariCity)

TheAkame48Falls is a beautiful piece of natural art created by numerous waterfalls connected upstream of the Takigawa River that flows on the border between Iga and Yamato. It is located in the center of Murou Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park and is approximately 4 kilometers long.

The mysterious nature of Akame has been selected as one of the 100 best waters of the Heisei era, 100 best waterfalls in Japan, 100 best forests for forest bathing, and 100 best walks. The harmony of the sounds will make you enjoy nature even more.

Trolley train (underground train) (KumanoCity)

Kiwa-cho, KumanoCity Mie Prefecture, was once famous as a mining town, and has a long history, with copper being mined for over 1,200 years.
