Taste of autumn at LakeShorenji Tourist Village ☆ Grape picking (NabariCity Part 1)

掲載日:2011.09.05

It's finally time for the taste of autumn, grape picking season! We covered LakeShorenji Tourist Village, where you can enjoy picking various types of grapes such as Delaware and Kyoho. NabariCity Part 1 (August 2011)

LakeShorenji is lush with greenery. When it's calm like this day, the mountains and bridges are reflected on the lake surface like a mirror. Going ahead is KaochidaniValley, a famous spot for autumn leaves.

Shorenji Tourist Village is located on the shore of this lake, and 20 vineyards, approximately 12 hectares in size, are spread out on the gentle hills.

When you arrive at LakeShorenji Tourist Village, first go through the formalities at LakeShorenji Information Center or Yamayuri Information Center, where you will be introduced to the best farms to eat. If you have small children, pregnant women, elderly people, or people in wheelchairs, please let them know. You can rest assured that we will guide you to a farm that suits you.

When you go to the vineyard introduced in this article, you'll see a vast array of grape trellises that look like a curtain of bright green, giving you a very refreshing feeling. And there were lots of small, sweet Delawares.

Under the grape trellis, families and groups with small children were enjoying freshly picked, juicy grapes. Children will be thrilled because they can harvest their own grapes and eat them right away. I also had my fill of Delaware☆

Starting in September, Kyoho, the king of grapes, will be in season. When you take a look at it, you will notice that it is large, has a good color, and has firm grains that are heavy and feel heavy to the touch. When you take a bite, it's juicy and very sweet. As expected of a king. Each bouquet is made with great care and has a lot of thought put into it.

You can eat all you want inside the park without any time limit! Moreover, you can bring your own. It's great that you can bring your own lunch and drinks and enjoy it with your family and friends. Of course, you can also reserve bento boxes (from 800 yen) and charcoal grilled barbecue (from 2,800 yen), so don't worry if you come empty-handed. You can also buy some delicious souvenirs to take home♪

For lunch, we had the local gourmet ``Iga beef beef soup.'' I had it at Dainichiya near TheAkame48Falls. You can eat and drink there, and there is also a souvenir shop across the road. The kind staff will also be able to give you detailed information. In addition, the red noren curtain is the mark of a store that sells beef soup.

I had the beef soup gozen (1,000 yen) that came with dengaku and five-grain rice. Dainiya's beef soup has a mild flavor made from bonito and kelp soup stock, and is packed with Iga beef and vegetables. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Next up is 5 types of beef soup. The taste varies depending on the restaurant, so it's a good idea to try and compare.

(Five points of beef soup)
1. The meat must be Iga beef.
2. The basics are to use Japanese-style soy sauce, Iga beef, and green onions. However, each store must make arrangements.
3. Use locally grown vegetables as much as possible
4. The product name should be “Iga beef beef soup”
5. Post a curtain at the storefront
