Honestly, I recommend using public transportation.

Up to this point, we have assumed that you will be visiting IseJingu (Naiku and Geku) Okage-yokocho by car, and have introduced access and recommended parking lots. However, visiting Naiku and Geku shrines, as well as visiting Okage-yokocho is highly convenient and highly recommended, as public transportation is highly accessible. During busy periods, it takes time to enter and exit the parking lot. On the other hand, during busy periods such as the year-end and New Year holidays, it is possible to travel relatively comfortably by public transportation, such as the introduction of temporary large buses and temporary schedules.

We recommend that you consider using public transportation to visit IseJingu and Okage-yokocho.

Tips for those visiting by car during busy times

During periods such as Golden Week and first-time visitors, there is heavy traffic congestion on the roads around Naiku and Geku Okage-yokocho, so we are implementing a ``Park & Bus Ride'' (shuttle bus service) to alleviate traffic congestion. During the period, the shuttle bus will run in a "shuttle bus-only lane", so you can get to Naiku and Geku Okage-yokocho smoothly (about 15 to 25 minutes). If you are visiting IseJingu Okage-yokocho on the day the Park & Bus Ride is held, please make use of it. I recommend it.
