Mie Prefectural Museum MieMu will hold an autumn exhibition titled "SUZUKA Stage of Dreams and Challenges - Honda's F1 and SuzukaCircuit" from September 19th (Saturday) to November 15th (Sunday), 2015. It will be held until. You can enjoy watching Japan's world-famous SuzukaCircuit and the history of Honda's F1 challenges!

At the entrance is the RC142 machine that Honda built to compete in the Isle of Man TT race in England. This is a bike that entered the race in 1959, but was restored in 2009.

This is the Honda RA272, a machine from the early days of Honda's F1 participation. The simple cigar shape is so cool! It's the era of national colors, but the coloring is also excellent. By the way, not only machines but also engines are on display.

This is a 1985 machine, Williams Honda FW10. Machines from the era were equipped with turbo engines, and in this era they produced tremendous horsepower (especially in qualifying). It is also famous for being ridden by bearded driver Nigel Mansell.

This is a car from the time when the F1 boom was going on, so you may recognize its shape. Like the first photo, I miss the McLaren MP4/5B, Marlboro color. The Honda engine of this period had an overwhelming strength that made it unrivaled. The driver was, of course, Ayrton Senna.
*As a small joke, a sticker from a certain boys' manga magazine is attached to the machine nose.

The driving suit worn by Senna and the helmet are also on display.

Tyrrell Honda 020, a machine with a distinctive nose. This was the machine that famous driver Satoru Nakajima rode in his final season in 1991, and it was equipped with a Honda V10 engine.

Honda returned as an engine supplier in 2000. This is the 2004 machine, B・A・R Honda 006. The aerodynamics are very complex and worth seeing. Popular Japanese driver Takuma Sato finished on the podium at the American Grand Prix.

Many people may have been surprised by the coloring of the Honda RA107 when it first appeared. It was a time when it was all Honda, right down to the chassis, and it was a machine that really showed Honda's challenge. There are many letters in the coloring. Please take a look at the actual product.

In addition to the machines, the exhibits give a clear understanding of Honda's efforts at Suzuka, including the history of SuzukaCircuit, amusement parks, and traffic safety. Even those who don't usually visit museums will definitely enjoy it. F1 fans and car enthusiasts can enjoy it for a long time!

It will be held from Saturday, September 19th, 2015 to Sunday, November 15th, 2015. Please check the Mie Prefectural Museum MieMu website for admission fees, business hours, etc.
