Recruiting participants for “IseJingu Dedication Procession”! ! Isejin Uhou no Gyouretsu Sankasha Daiboshu

Once a year, I send my heart of gratitude to God.
The Kannamatsuri festival held at IseJingu is a festival where the new grain of the year is offered to the great deity and given in gratitude for the divine virtues. Until the Meiji period, girls performed service to the gods. In connection with this, Okage-yokocho will hold a shrine offering procession once a year to convey the heart (feelings) of gratitude (thank you to the gods) to the gods. With five grains (rice, wheat, millet, millet, and beans) in hand, the group, led by girls in uchiki (coats) and carrying offerings to the shrine, heads to Naiku Kagura Hall to make offerings.
We are looking for girls to join this procession.
■Date and time: Disbanded from 10:00 to 12:00 on Sunday, October 8, 2020
■Recruitment deadline: Friday, September 8, 2020
■Number of people recruiting: 12 people
■Conditions:
① Girls in 3rd to 6th grade of elementary school.
② The hair must be long enough to be gathered at the back.
③Be able to meet at Okage-yokocho by 8:15 a.m. on October 8th.
■Participation fee: Free
*Transportation expenses to Okage-yokocho are to be borne by participants.
*There is no parking lot, so please use a nearby municipal parking lot.
■Selection method: Lottery if there are many applicants
■Result notification: After selection, all applicants will be notified by phone by Friday, September 15th.
■Inquiries/Applications: Please apply from the recruitment form on the website, specifying the name of the guardian (in furigana), the name of the participant (in furigana), date of birth, address, and phone number.

Get off at Kintetsu "Ujiyamada Station" and take the bus bound for Naiku for about 20 minutes, then get off at "Jingu Kaikan-mae" and walk for 1 minute.
From Ise Expressway Ise IC, go straight on National Route 23 toward Naiku, about 5 minutes.
