Kuwana clams have been a nationally known speciality since the Edo period, so much so that there is a saying: 'Sono te wa Kuwana no Yaki-Haguri' ('That hand is Kuwana's grilled clam').

【About Agreement to host F1 Japanese Grand Prix race from 2025 onwards】

On Friday 2 February 2024, Honda Mobilityland Corporation, the operator of the Suzuka Circuit, signed an agreement with Formula 1® (President and CEO: Mr Stefano Domenicali) to host  Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix race at the Suzuka Circuit from 2025 to 2029. The agreement was signed with the F1® (President and CEO: Stefano Domenicali).


F1 Japanese Grand Prix attracts many fans from home and abroad. With the extension of the race to Suzuka, we look forward to many more visitors to Mie Prefecture in the future!
