Yamaguchi Seishi Haiku Museum / Tokuriki Tomikichiro Print Museum
This is a memorial museum for both teachers who loved Ise very much. On the first floor is the print museum of Tokuriki Tomikichiro, who was born in Kyoto's art school and is renowned as a pioneer of multi-color woodblock prints. Entering through the storehouse entrance at the end of the first floor is Yamaguchi Seishi's haiku museum. Modeled after an antique shop called "Seigado" in Iga Ueno, the building gives a glimpse of the unique merchant houses of the Iga region, with low eaves and a storehouse attached to the main building. Yamaguchi Seishi's haiku museum has a submission box and displays the selected haiku every month.
