Kameyama clan's style Shinkata Sword style martial arts form Kameyamahan

Shingata Toryu was started in 1682 by Hideaki Iba Zesuken, who had learned from Tsumakata Kamajusai and added his own originality to it. Later, in 1682, the Kameyama feudal retainer Yamazaki Setryuken, who had learned the secret techniques at the Iba Dojo, planned to establish a martial arts dojo, and the Kameyama Enbujo was established in present-day Minamino-cho. Sword-ryu was a Kameyama domain style, and many feudal samurai, including the lord of the domain, were initiated into it. In 1891, it was moved to the former Ninomaru, and then moved to the grounds of yagami. Today, Shingata Toryu remains only in Kameyama, where it has been passed down through generations by the Shingata Toryu Preservation Seshinkai.
