We are reviving Kamakata's salt production, which ceased about 400 years ago, and each piece of salt is lovingly handcrafted in a salt hut in the Tanahashi Kamata village.
Kamakata's salt is made using seawater from MinamiiseTown on the Rias Coast, which is rich in nutrients from the forest, and is cooked over a long period of time using four ovens in a salt-making hut near the coast.
Although mass production is not possible, we have created carefully selected salt that is carefully crafted one by one.
Seawater, which is rich in natural nutrients, is slowly boiled to retain its sweetness, and the salt is baked at a low temperature, resulting in a mellow salty flavor with rounded corners. You can enjoy the natural taste without using any additives.
Mild salty taste, faint sweetness. It tastes natural.
