This is a tour to dive into the sea of Ise-Shima with a working ama diver who knows everything about the sea.
The ocean floor is full of the beauty of the blue ocean and the brilliance of life, which is different from what is seen on land.
The history, secrets, and lives of women told by Ama divers are a must-see.
Ama divers, who collect shellfish and seaweed from the ocean floor by free diving, have a history of about 3,000 years.
While the number of people involved in this work is decreasing in various regions, there are currently approximately 800 people working in Mie Prefecture. The number is the highest in Japan!
