Red boxwood clump
Low-tall red boxwoods grow in clusters mainly on the sunny south slope near the summit of Mt. Daisen, and the leaves turn red or brown in midwinter.
Especially in years when there is a big temperature difference from autumn to winter, the colors are vivid and the contrast with the clear blue sky and sea is beautiful.
A natural monument of the city.
