Women's Embankment Monument

This area is the confluence of the Suzuka River and the Anraku River, and it frequently floods and causes extensive damage. Around 1950, kambe clan repeatedly requested repairs, but they were not allowed, and the women committed a violation and prepared to be beheaded. The embankment was reinforced.
The women were once sent to the execution site, but it is said that they were saved by the fast horse of pardon.

This monument stands under the north embankment of the Suzuka River in Kumigawara-cho SuzukaCity.
