Myofukuji Myofukuji

A temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located near the border of SuzukaCity and TsuCity.
It is the 20th temple among the 88 shrines in Mie and Shikoku, and although the date of its establishment is unknown, it is said to have been founded by the monk Gyoki during the Nara period.
The ``Wooden Seated Statue of Shaka Nyorai'' and ``Wooden Seated Statue of Dainichi Nyorai'' in the collection are designated as important cultural properties of the country.
