What is nemophila?
It is an annual plant native to western North America, and its Japanese name is Rurikarakusa.
It grows horizontally with finely branched branches and reaches a height of about 20 cm.
It is also popular as a ground cover for spring flower beds and as a group planting in containers. It is a lovely flower with a beautiful clear blue color that stands out against the blue sky of spring.

Nabananosato Nemophila Festival (KuwanaCity)
Nabananosato holds its annual spring flower festival.
Hana Hiroba, one of the largest flower gardens in Japan, is located within the village and is a vast flower garden measuring 13,000 tsubo. One side of it is filled with cute blue nemophila.

Nemophila at Mie Prefectural Sun Arena Flower Plaza (IseCity)
At the Mie Prefectural Sun Arena Flower Plaza, you can enjoy flowers grown by the volunteer group ``Flowers Bloom at Mt.Asama.''
You can enjoy seasonal flowers mainly in spring and autumn, such as peach blossoms in March and nemophila from mid-April. There is a flower plaza near the entrance to Sun Arena.

Nemophila near Oizumi Station, InabeCity City (InabeCity)
You can enjoy Nemophila flowers on the west side of Oizumi Station and the southeast corner of InabeCity.
The cute blue carpet of flowers and the yellow Sangi Railway cars are the picturesque features.

Nemophila is planted on the south side of the official park golf course (peony course) in ToinTown Park, a comprehensive park built in a waterside environment rich in nature. It is expected that you will be able to enjoy Nemophila around mid to late April 2024.
Nemophila at MenardAoyamaResort (IgaCity)
A magnificent herb garden that spreads out on the hills of the plateau inside MenardAoyamaResort. It covers an area of 8 hectares, and over 300 types of herbs compete for color and scent each year. You can enjoy blue nemophila flowers from April to May.
