Hosenji Garden (Taki Town, TakiTown)

The former Hosen-ji Temple in Tenkei Park was founded by Shonin Shokei, who established a small hermitage here for the first time in 1659, and later by Osho Umemine in 1715. Since then, it has been known as a famous temple of the Southern Obaku sect for 300 years, and many literary figures have visited here. It is now managed by the town as Tenkei Park. There is a Hansui Pond where you can enjoy maple trees.
