Introducing a model course for 1 night and 2 days around NabariCity in the Murou Akame Aoyama Quasi-National Park area! Recommended for office workers who spend their days hard and seek relaxation! Enjoy extraordinary experiences such as fresh fruits, hot springs, ninja training, and waterfall walking♪

What is Murou Akame Aoyama Quasi-National Park?

Murou Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park, represented by TheAkame48Falls and AoyamaPlateau, is an area where you can enjoy both the majesty of the valley and the mountains.

For those who want to experience the variety of valleys that change with the seasons, we recommend the Akame/ KaochidaniValley area. You can feel nature as it is, with numerous waterfalls appearing in the deep forest and a landscape of rock formations with columnar joints.

If you want to feel the breeze in a gentle grassland, go AoyamaPlateau. The gentle undulations are perfect for hiking and touring, and the park near the top offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and Ise Bay, making it an area where the highland breeze feels pleasant.

If you want to enjoy mountain climbing and hiking in the series of mountains, then the Misugi/Iidaka area is the place to go. The Misugi area has been certified as the first ``Forest Therapy Base'' in the Tokai region, making it ideal for forest bathing to soothe the mind and body. The Iidaka area is a forest and mountain area that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experienced kahadavalley, consisting of mountains and valleys that are more than 1,000 meters high and surround Kahada Gorge.

Explanation of the areas covered in this course

LakeShorenji is surrounded by beautiful mountains and has the famous kachiji KaochidaniValley nearby. In this nature-rich area, which is also known as a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing in spring, you can also enjoy picking various types of grapes and strawberries depending on the season.

First, you will complete the formalities at the reception, and then we will introduce you to the farm that is the best to eat from within the approximately 12 hectare vineyard. (Berry A seems to be at its best when I visited in October!)

This is actually my first time picking grapes in my life. I'm looking forward to it♪

When you enter the farm, you will see a beautiful vineyard spread out all over...! ! There are so many that it's hard to decide which grapes to eat first.

Each grape is wrapped in a bag, and the bunches and fruits are large, and when you bite into it, the sweetness fills your mouth. It has a rich flavor with just the right amount of acidity, and you won't be able to stop eating from its deliciousness...!

All-you-can-eat with no time limit inside the park. You can make reservations for a barbecue, and you can bring your own food and drinks, so it's a great place to pack your lunch and relax with your family and friends.

(Grape picking is usually open from late July to late October.)

You can't miss it when you come to Nabari! Enjoy the local gourmet "Nabari beef soup"♪

After filling my stomach with some grapes, I would like to go eat Nabari's local gourmet dish, Nabari beef soup.

Nabari beef soup is a Japanese-style soy sauce soup made with Iga beef, which is said to be a mythical cow, and local vegetables. There are five rules for calling it beef soup, and as long as you follow these rules, you can enjoy a different taste depending on the restaurant!

This time I visited Drive-In Akame, where you can not only eat but also buy souvenirs.
The beef soup gozen that I ordered is a set of beef soup, rice balls, and small bowls.

The combination of the flavorful Iga beef and the gentle Japanese-style soup stock is simply outstanding! The gentle taste will warm your body and soul. A very satisfying dish made with smooth and wide udon noodles made with kudzu and packed with plenty of vegetables.

While I was enjoying my meal while looking out at the red-eye clear stream, I noticed that some of the leaves were starting to change color. Autumn leaves season is almost here. TheAkame48Falls in autumn is a must-see as you can enjoy the beautiful contrast between the autumn leaves and the waterfall.

This article is from 3 years ago, but there is also a report on the autumn leaves season, so be sure to check it out!

"Ninja training experience" in the forest where ninjas once trained. Can you become a full-fledged ninja?

After filling your stomach with gourmet food unique to this area, let's move your body as much as possible!

Akame Mountain is where Momochi Sandayu, the founder of the Iga ninja, once practiced rigorous daily training with his disciples. At the `` NinjanoMori'' at the foot of the mountain, you can experience various types of Iga-ryu ninjutsu training! After changing into a ninja costume of your favorite color, head over to Enju-in Temple, where ninjas once trained, and head to the training site.

First, practice the ninja pose.

As a spell for self-defense, warding off evil spirits, and unifying the mind, chant the nine-character self-defense method of "Rin, Hei, Tou, Person, Minna, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Mae" and start training right away!

First of all, we experienced the famous ninja house trick called Dongaeshi.

There is a loophole behind the hidden door, and it is a technique to secretly escape when attacked by the enemy. You'll get excited about the fun tricks you've seen on TV!

Also, experience shuriken training like a ninja! The iron shuriken is a bit heavy, and after you learn how to use it, you will aim at a wooden target and aim at the shuriken.

I couldn't hit it well at first, but after practicing a few times and getting the hang of it, I was able to hit the ball! I was so happy that I burst out laughing!

You can also try your hand at straddling a 15m long rope and crossing quickly by pulling.

While keeping your balance on the lowered leg, move forward using the power of your hands. It was a little difficult, but I was so happy with the sense of accomplishment when I reached the goal!

If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of trees and the chirping of birds. I think looking up at the sky and taking a deep breath will be another pleasant time!

Next is Tobizaru no Jutsu, which imitates a monkey jumping from tree to tree. The training of jumping onto the rope was a little thrilling, and it was so much fun that I tried it many times!

You can also experience various training techniques such as ``climbing techniques'' and ``blowgun techniques'' that allow you to overcome three obstacles. Ninja training is basically a one-and-a-half hour course, and is an experience that both adults and children can enjoy. Ninja training at a sacred place was the best experience that can only be had here!

If you come here, you can become an Akame master! "Akame Natural History Museum"

After enjoying the ninja training, head to the Akame Natural History Museum located at the entrance to TheAkame48Falls.

This museum exhibits various materials related to the area, including the flora and fauna that inhabit the Akame area, its history, culture, and the ninjas with whom it has close ties.

When I suddenly looked outside, I saw a deer in the museum window!

The Akame Valley is full of beautiful nature and is still home to various creatures such as wild birds and giant salamanders.

It would be fun to learn about the kinds of creatures that live there at the museum beforehand and then go look for them! I felt that it was a wonderful museum that was close to the nature and characteristics of the area.

Enjoy the ultimate relaxation at Akame Onsen's Hidden Hot Spring "Taisenkaku". Relax and take a breather in preparation for tomorrow.

After playing and learning a lot, let's relax at the inn.
I came to Akame Onsen's Hidden Hot Spring "Taisenkaku".

The new building ``Komorebi-no-Yakata'' has a view of the Akame Valley and the courtyard, the ``Main Building'' has a traditional Japanese atmosphere, and the ``Kaede-no-Yakata'' allows you to feel the trees of the valley up close.

Guests can enjoy staying at three different inns that meet their needs. Each type of guest room is a space where you can enjoy the nature of Akame, and you are sure to enjoy the ultimate relaxation.

Enjoy the cool sunset on the wooden deck inside the hotel. Enjoy `` doing nothing'' while feeling the wind blowing from the mountains and the scent of the trees.

A day filled with the nature and culture of Akame through various experiences. I'm going to have a lot of fun tomorrow too♪

“Waterfall experience” where you can become one with nature. Improve yourself by being hit by a waterfall!

good morning! The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is the ``Eco Tour, where you can brush yourself up against waterfalls'' held at TheAkame48Falls.

Improve yourself through takigyo in a place that was once a training ground for Shugendo. I'm so excited about my first experience! After checking in at the Akame Natural History Museum, which I visited yesterday, I borrowed a white costume for the experience and set off right away!

The refreshing air full of negative ions flows through the mountains and it feels so good! As you walk, you can hear the murmuring of the trees and the chirping of birds.

TheAkame48Falls, which I visited once in "Yamamoto Ai Mietabi". Among them, the Akame Go Falls, which I have previously introduced, is a particular highlight. After passing one of them, Fudo Falls, and walking for a while, a steep mountain path appeared!

We will climb this rocky area for about 10 minutes under the guidance of a guide. Although the road was more difficult than I had imagined, I felt that my expectations for the experience that awaited me gradually increased.

It's safe even for beginners in mountain climbing, as everyone can talk to each other and move slowly.

We have arrived at our destination! The waterfall, with its rugged rocky surface, has a drop of 30 meters. It's so powerful...!

The name of this waterfall is ``Dainichi Falls'', and it is said that very few people usually visit it, and it is also called a phantom waterfall. When I changed into white clothes in a simple tent and approached the waterfall, it felt so good to feel the spray of water hitting my body, which had gotten hot from walking!

Now, let's get into the waterfall training. First, bow to the waterfall.

Surrendering yourself to the gently flowing waterfall will slowly purify your mind and body. A waterfall walk performed in a quiet and magical space will make you feel as if you and nature have become one.

The customers who take this tour are of a wide range of age groups, and it is said that it is a very popular tour among women. It was the best experience to borrow the power of nature and refresh your body and mind ☆

Lose yourself of time and relax at Taisenkaku 's natural hot springs, which are known for their skin-beautifying effects.

After enjoying the waterfall ride, I would like to enjoy the hot springs that are included in the eco tour.

You can choose your favorite hot spring from ``Yumoto Akame Sansuien'' and `` Taisenkaku.'' Taisenkaku hot spring that I entered is a high-quality alkaline simple hot spring that comes from 1000 meters underground. It has a moist and smooth texture and can be expected to be highly effective for beautifying the skin.

The large open-air baths are named "Jonin no Yu" and "Kunoichi no Yu" after ninjas, and are open-air baths where the natural scenery of Akame spreads out in front of you. Climb mountains, be hit by waterfalls, and warm up in hot springs. It was a luxurious tour that healed both mind and body!

I enjoyed authentic spice curry at the stylish hideout "BIG SPICE"♪

Next, I headed to a used clothing and spice curry shop that was close to my accommodation! “BIG SPICE” just opened in Akame in February 2021.

The shop was built in a renovated old folk house and is a stylish space where you can feel the warmth of wood.

This time
I ordered the "Weekly Keema Curry" with black chickpeas and crunchy nuts. It included spiced eggs, Indian rice crackers papad, and 4-5 daily side dishes!

The rich curry is made with spices specially prepared by the owner, and is not too spicy, so it's also delicious when eaten with the side dishes! The rice used is Pakistan's fragrant basmati rice, which goes perfectly with the spiced curry.

To accompany the curry, we also received the seasonal drink ``Sudachi no Lassi''. Lassi made with pesticide-free sudachi is so refreshing that you can gulp it down♪

The owner of the shop moved to Nabari from Osaka with his family and started the shop. It seems that the fresh vegetables used in the dishes are shared with neighboring farmers for the day's use.

This is truly local production for local consumption.
It was a wonderful restaurant where you can relax and forget about time while eating delicious curry and want to come back again!

Discover famous sake unique to this area at “Takijiman Sake Brewery”!

After enjoying a leisurely lunch, it was almost time. As I was heading towards the station, I found a nice shop.

The sake ``Takijiman'' made here at ``Takijiman Sake Brewery'' is a famous sake that Nabari is proud of and was selected as the toasting drink for IseShimaSummit. We mainly use Iga Yamada Nishiki, and it is made with underground water from TheAkame48Falls, which was selected as one of the ``100 Best Waters of the Heisei Period.'' This masterpiece is carefully crafted using many small tanks and fine-tuning the condition of each one one by one.

From the stage of cleaning the equipment and sharpening the rice.
, all red-eyed underground water is using That's right!

I was recommended ``Hayase'', which boasts a refreshing and pleasant scent and a clean taste, and I bought it as a souvenir for my family.

Takijiman Sake Brewery is also trying to make seasonal sake using rice from Hokkaido and Hiroshima. Famous sakes were created through ingenuity and the desire to challenge various things while carefully preserving existing ones.

The water and nature of Akame, which I had experienced through various experiences, was also connected to sake brewing!
