What is “Bar Vintage”?

Bar Vintage is quietly located a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station. This is an authentic bar where a master bartender with the title of master bartender welcomes you with "conversation, drinks, and space."

This time, I went to interview this restaurant because it was selected as an excellent restaurant in Mie Prefecture's "Anshin Mie Ria" certification system.

There is a full-fledged bar counter inside the store, and the master is a true liquor professional with a wealth of knowledge and skill regarding alcohol! This is a shop where alcohol professionals will let you enjoy the ``authentic'' drinks.

Thorough infectious disease control

Entry into the store is limited to two people per group. After wearing a mask and disinfecting with alcohol, I entered the store.

In addition to reducing the number of seats in the store, the space will be sterilized using a Brockenwater sprayer. We ask that you please be careful by posting signs at the entrance and throughout the store.

Even at the counter, we have hand sanitizer installed for each seat rather than just one group, and we have also installed acrylic panels designed by the master that extend not only above the counter, but also to the side of your body when you sit on the chair.

About the menu

Although there is no menu, there is a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including whiskey, beer, and wine, and the cocktails range from standard ones to ones made with seasonal fruits.

It's an authentic bar where you can enjoy alcohol, so the food is limited to snacks. The menu for the day was written on a board at the back of the store.

There are many factors that affect the taste of alcohol, such as the strength of the alcohol, how it is made, and how it is drunk, but in fact, the simpler the alcohol, the more important is knowledge and technique.

At Bar Vintage, we not only offer standard cocktails, but our experienced masters will also offer you a recommended drink to suit your tastes and mood.

Recommended dish

Among the many menus, the master recommended the house blend highball, which is a unique blend of three carefully selected types of whisky!

Apparently, the simpler the cocktail, the more profound the bartender's skills are. The process from the beginning to the finished product is so wonderful that you will be captivated by it.
