Introducing a one-night, two-day excursion course that traverses Ise-Shima and Yoshino-Kumano, two national parks that Mie Prefecture is proud of! In addition to the classic Ise pilgrimage, there are also plenty of activities to enjoy the nature unique to this area. Make your workday more efficient at a comprehensive resort♪Although the travel time is a little long, this course is also recommended for family trips where you can enjoy various natural charms♪

What is Ise-Shimano National Park and Yoshino-Kumano National Park?

Ise-Shima National Park is one of Japan's leading marine national parks, with a distinctive ria coastline. The complex coastline, dotted with small coves and headlands, is not only a fishing ground for abundant seafood. The calm waves make it ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and other sea activities.

It's also great to have fun learning about how local people have lived in the midst of nature, such as the ama culture and pearl farming.

Yoshino-Kumano National Park is a land with strong ties to history and nature, and the area is mentioned in books such as the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. Since the Heian period, many people have visited this place as a sacred place.

In the morning, the sight of the deep green mountains covered with the morning mist is breathtakingly beautiful. The reason why the faith took root in this area may have something to do with this mysterious nature. This is what makes me think of the unchanging nature.

Explanation of the areas covered in this course

Shown on the map are the spots you will visit on this course. (Total 8 locations)

Starting from IseJingu, which is said to be the spiritual home of the Japanese people, head to Yoshino Kumano, which is connected by the Ise Route of the Kumano Kodo, a world heritage site with only two roads in the world. While following this place of worship, which has been a place of longing since the Edo period and has been said to have been visited ``Ise seven times and Kumano three times'', you can also enjoy a fulfilling work experience at the perfect facility for a workday!
Enjoy your work and play to the fullest♪

① “IseJingu (Naiku)” is a place that every Japanese person should visit at least once.

IseJingu has been known as the "home of the Japanese spirit" since ancient times.
If you want to visit the shrine, I actually recommend early in the morning because there are fewer people!

At UjibashiBridge, which connects the everyday to the sacred world, you can hear the soothing murmur of the Isuzu River.

The morning sunlight shines through the lush Jingu forest beautifully.

The Jingu Forest is actually divided into two areas, the ``Shrine Precinct'' and the ``Shrine Precinct Forest,'' where they are working to improve the scenic beauty and grow materials for the construction of ShikinenSengu Sengu. The Miyagi Forest preserves the ecosystem of the Ise-Shima region as it is, with approximately 2,800 species of animals, 140 species of birds, and 850 species of plants.

We tend to only focus on shrines and shrines, but
please come and experience IseJingu as a space that also includes the charm of nature.

② After visiting the shrine, enjoy the streets and gourmet food of Oharai-Machi Okage-yokocho ♪

After visiting the shrine in the fresh morning air, I felt very refreshed. It looks like today will be a wonderful day too♪

After visiting IseJingu, let's go to Oharai-Machi in front of Naiku 's torii shrine.

Oharai-Machi is lined with souvenir shops, long-established confectionery shops, and inns built in Ise's unique gabled, gabled, and tsumari styles, and you can also enjoy historic buildings such as the shrine dojo and the priest's office, creating a quaint townscape. You can enjoy it to the fullest!

Okage-yokocho special feature! We will introduce in detail 33 popular spots for gourmet food, souvenirs, and experiences.

If you can take a leisurely stroll, don't forget to Okage-yokocho!

This street, where representative buildings of Iseji from the Edo period to the Meiji period have been relocated and recreated, has an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time. It is a relaxing place where you can spend a relaxed and nostalgic time amidst the liveliness of a festival.

In addition to Akafukumochi and Ise-Udon, which are well-known as Ise specialties, there are also a wide variety of gourmet restaurants to enjoy while walking!

There are some shops where you can relax and relax, so it might be a good time to check your email or make a phone call.

③Feel the nature of Ise-Shima at “Shima Nature School”!

From the afternoon, we will have a full experience in the nature of Ise-Shima! !

At Shima Nature School in Daio-cho ShimaCity City, you can enjoy a variety of experience programs such as marine leisure and cycling tours, set in Ago Bay, which boasts one of the most beautiful ria coastlines in Japan.

If you're looking for fun with your family, we especially recommend sea kayaking and deserted island tours.

Sea kayaking is safe even for small children as the instructor provides careful guidance, and the uninhabited island offers an ``adventure'' that can only be experienced here.

Blue skies, blue seas, and islands full of greenery. Create unforgettable memories in a spacious location♪

④ "NEMU RESORT", which is perfect for a workcation stay, also has a wide range of experience programs!

After enjoying sea kayaking for about an hour and a half, let's head to today's accommodation "NEMU RESORT"♪

Not only is the facility equipped with Wi-Fi and a comfortable working space, but we also rent out pocket Wi-Fi, mobile chargers, relaxing chairs, etc. This is where you get in the car, from within the grounds the size of 60 Tokyo Domes! You can choose your favorite spot and work on it.

This time I chose the "hill dyed in the sunset" on the west end.

As the name suggests, it is a spot where you can see one of the best sunsets in the country, called "Magic Hour," but even during the daytime, this is a spectacular sight!

I was able to concentrate on my work in a perfect location while feeling the sound of the sea, the wind, and the scent of the sea with my entire body.

At NEMU RESORT, you don't have to worry about "I'm free while mom and dad are working!"

There are many programs that take advantage of the vast grounds and rich nature, such as bonfires, starry sky cruising, sea kayaking, SUP, yoga, golf, and Satoyama experiences, so you can fully enjoy the nature of Ise-Shima just by staying here♪

On the second day, I woke up early and woke up with yoga!
Once you prepare your mind and body, your morning work will also be easier. Stay focused on your work at your favorite spot until checkout!

Although I only stayed for one night on this course, the resort facility was so comfortable and full of charm that I thought, ``I want to use this as my base and stay in Ise-Shima more!''

*Currently, they are also conducting a car sharing initiative as a demonstration experiment. Drive from the resort to the city! That's good.

⑤ Drive along the Kumano Sea ♪ And enjoy the fantastic oysters at Manryo Sushi!

Once I'm done with my work, I'm off to my next destination, Yoshino Kumano!
Although the travel time to Yoshino-Kumano is long, you can enjoy the varied terrain along the way and never get bored.

Let's enjoy a luxurious drive while looking at the vast Kumano Sea ♪

*The photo is the view from Miejima Observation Deck in MinamiiseTown, which is also recognized as a sacred place for lovers as ``Heart Cove.''

If you've come all the way to this area, why not take a detour to try the "mysterious oysters"?

At Manryo Sushi, located right in front of KihokuTown-nagashima Station in Kihoku-cho, you can enjoy Watari oyster nigiri sushi, a local sushi made with rare oysters.

``Watari oysters'' are cultivated in ``Shiraishi Lake,'' which is a brackish body of water (*), rather than the sea, so they don't have the seaside smell or taste that is typical of oysters, and although they are small, they are extremely rich! It also goes great with Shari♪

Since you can take it home from 7am, it's also a great lunch box for mountain climbing, fishing, and marine leisure! Please enjoy Yoshino Kumano with this luxurious lunch box in hand♪

(*)…Area where freshwater and seawater are mixed

⑥ Take a sightseeing tour of the impressive columnar joint "Tategasaki". "Blue Cave" is also a must-see♪

Speaking of Kumano, Kumano Kodo is famous, but Tategasaki is also a scenic spot that you should definitely visit.
The spectacular scenery, with the towering cliffs of columnar joints and the rough waves of the Kumano Sea, will blow away the stress of work.

Tategasaki is a spot that can be enjoyed from both land and sea, but this time let's try it from the sea on a pleasure boat ♪

The rock face is so impressive that it gives you the illusion of being swallowed up.

And this beautiful blue color that makes you feel like you're in another world.

The sight of Gama no Mouth, also known as the ``Blue Cave'', was a breathtaking view that rivaled the original Italy.

⑦This time, enjoy the spectacular view from land! Get a panoramic view of the Kumano Sea from Onigajo, which is said to be the Oni Observatory!

This time, let's look at the sea from land ♪

Onigajo, which is said to have once been a viewing platform for demons, is a work of art created by natural processes such as uplift, weathering, and wave erosion. From this location, which stretches for 1km facing the Kumano Sea, you can see a vast panorama of the Kumano Sea!

Of course, this place is also a treasure trove of photo spots.

Although the road is a bit steep, you will be able to see many spectacular views.

Find a place where you can take the best photo with your family and friends ♪

As we went around Onigajo, the sun began to set, and our fun trip was coming to an end. If you want to buy souvenirs, go to Onigajo Center, where you can find local specialties!

There are plenty of souvenirs unique to Kumano, such as drinks made with Niihime, a specialty citrus fruit, KumanoJidori(TheLocalBrandChicken), which is certified as a Mie brand, and the precious Nachi Kuroishi, which is only quarried in this town.

⑧ Work up a sweat at Yumekodo Owase, where you can enjoy a bath with deep ocean water, and return home feeling very satisfied.

``I've been soaking in the sea breeze all day, and I want to take a bath before I go home.''

For those of you, we recommend "Yumekodo Owase" where you can enjoy a bath using deep ocean water, which is rare in Japan!

The water pumped up from the deep sea at 415 meters is rich in minerals and highly moisturizing, making it perfect for your skin after returning from the sea. I'm feeling excited about work starting tomorrow.

The view of Owase Bay and Kumano Kodo Magose-togePass from the open-air bath was also a perfect way to end the trip.
