“Osugitani Rinkan Camp Village” where you can experience nature with your whole body. Spend a special time in a secret area blessed with water and greenery.

Osugidani is considered one of Japan's three great canyons, along with Kurobe Gorge in Toyama Prefecture and Kiyotsu Gorge in Niigata Prefecture. This ``unexplored region'', with its deep canyons and primeval forests blessed with a variety of plants, is one of only 10 areas in Japan to be designated as a ``UNESCO Eco Park.'' Osugidani Rinkan Campground, where you can fully enjoy the great outdoors, is now secretly gaining popularity. Please come and experience the comfortable silence created by the deep green mountains!

OdaiTown, located in the central-southwest part of Mie Prefecture, has part of the town designated as Yoshino-Kumano National Park, and is famous for the forest that occupies about 90% of the town and the clear water that the forest nurtures. . The Miyagawa River, a first-class river that flows through the center of the town, has been selected by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism many times as the clearest stream in Japan.

Approximately 50 minutes by car from OdaiTown Town. We arrived at Osugidani Rinkan Camp Village, a campsite located in the innermost part of town. I'm excited to see what kind of campsite is up ahead.

Check in at the front desk of the administration building. The window has been covered with vinyl sheets, so you can take precautions against droplet infection!

Osugidani Rinkan Camp Village is located at the entrance to the Osugidani Valley, so many people use it to spend the night before climbing. Just walking around the grounds full of negative ions will refresh your mood!

There are three types of bungalows: ``LARGE'', ``MEDIUM'', and ``SMALL'', which are recommended for camping beginners!

Inside the bungalow, you can feel the warmth of wood. Even "SMALL" is spacious enough for four people to sleep comfortably.

There are 19 tent sites in total. There are a variety of plot sizes, so you can enjoy camping to your heart's content according to your desired style. The largest section is approximately 13m x 5m, and can accommodate up to 8 people.

``A wide range of people use this campground, from individuals to young couples and families.Since the coronavirus outbreak, the number of day-trippers has increased,'' says a staff member. Even in the parking lot, cars with license plates from outside the prefecture, such as those from the Kansai and Tokai regions, are conspicuous.

If you want to enjoy the mountain scenery, why not choose a deck tent site? You are sure to have a refreshing morning surrounded by nature on an overwhelming scale.

In recent years, demand has been increasing for ``RV parks,'' spaces where you can comfortably sleep in a camper or one-box car. You can rent all kinds of camping equipment, from tents to LED lanterns to fire pits, so you can enjoy a new style of holiday!

This "Free Site Adventure" (limited to 5 groups) takes advantage of the unique location of "Osugitani Rinkan Camp Village." Staying here will make you feel like an adventurer! This is a space where you can find out how to pitch your tent, use a hammock, and enjoy the real pleasure of camping.

A kitchen with a roof and lighting is located in the center of the premises. You can rest assured that you can come here to prepare dinner on days when the weather is bad.

Firewood is sold at the administration building, so it might be a good idea to purchase it. We have a large amount in stock, so you don't have to worry about it running out.

I was surprised that there was a “pizza oven”! A rare chance to make your own authentic pizza. Prepare the ingredients in advance and enjoy a pizza party with everyone♪ Freshly baked pizza is the best!

Coin shower available 24 hours a day (100 yen for 3 minutes). There are two booths for both men and women.

Enjoy stargazing at night! This "starry sky net" is stretched toward the north and south sky, so if you lie on your back, you can fully enjoy the night sky of Osugidani.

There is also a "playground park" within the vast grounds, so children can enjoy their holidays without getting bored of camping! Tarzan Rope is a particularly popular attraction.

The wooden swing also matches the nature and looks great! The park itself is large, so you can also play ball.

The last spot I would like to introduce is a spot you absolutely cannot miss when you come to Osugidani Rinkan Camp Village. Osugi Shrine is located within the premises. The towering `` kounogi Osugi'' is estimated to be over 1,000 years old. It is said that the name ``Osugitani'' was given after this tree, which has already been growing since the time when Osugidani began to open up. I was so moved to see the tree from which the place's name comes from!

``This campground is not easily accessible, so it will take some effort to get there, but I think it will make up for it in that you will be able to experience the beautiful nature that only Osugidani has to offer,'' says a staff member.

An unexplored region where nature still remains. Here you will find a space like the "secret base" you imagined when you were a child!
