Glamping at “Ise Shima Everglades”! Enjoy the American outdoors with authentic BBQ and activities

掲載日:2021.03.08

``Ise-Shima Everglades'' is a place where you can enjoy camping with the theme of ``American & Outdoor Resort.'' Inside the vast grounds, there are cabins, trailer homes, and tent sites, and you can also experience ``glamping,'' a camping style that is attracting attention as a global trend. Let's take a closer look at the "popular secret" of a spot in Ise-Shima where you can experience the outdoors outdoors!

This time we visited ``Ise-Shima Everglades'' where you can enjoy camping with the theme of ``American & Outdoor Resort.''
As soon as you enter the premises, you will see a row of stylish buildings on the shores of the beautiful sea of Ise-Shima National Park. It feels like you're at a resort in America!

First, go to the front building for accommodation procedures. The grounds are dotted with palm trees, giving it an even more American atmosphere!

There is also a shop in the front building, where you can find everything convenient for your stay, such as camping supplies and food.
There is also a book rental and internet corner, so it's great for long-term stays.

A facility where you can enjoy "glamping" at Ise Shima Everglades is currently being flooded with reservations.
"Glamping" is a combination of "glamorous" and "camping," and as the name suggests, all of the glamping facilities here are equipped with private canoes and fire decks. Comes with it! You can spend a gorgeous time just for yourself.
*The facility in the photo is "Karibu."

The living room is similar to that of a luxury hotel, and the bed with a canopy is extremely comfortable.
``You can comfortably enjoy camping, which can be difficult for beginners,'' says General Manager Murayama. With all these facilities, even first-timers are sure to fall in love with Everglades camping!

There are also sun loungers on the water deck. Sunbathing under the endless sky is the ultimate relaxation experience!

A Canadian canoe that can accommodate four people at the same time. When everyone rows out to the beach where there are fish and waterfowl, an exciting adventure begins. It feels so good to take a breath and move forward smoothly!

At night, it takes on a completely moody atmosphere! This beautiful space full of exotic atmosphere is so wonderful that you will want to stay here forever.

From here, we will introduce three cabins that opened in 2020!
"Maryland" is a family-friendly cabin. There is a climbing slide outside and a chalkboard in the living room where you can write freely, making it fun for children.

If you want to travel with your pet, we recommend Louisiana. There is a teepee (cone-shaped tent) for pets and a tableware table outside, so your beloved pets will be stress-free.

*No-leash allowed in the garden space as long as the dog is supervised by the owner.

``Oregon'' is characterized by its ``universal design,'' where anyone can feel comfortable. Not only is there a path from the parking lot to the deck, but there are no steps inside, so it is safe for people in wheelchairs.

The abundance of activities that take advantage of Ise-Shima National Park's rich natural surroundings is one of the reasons why there are so many repeat visitors.
The "Fun Cycle" (30 minutes, 500 yen/tax included) shown in the photo allows you to ride on a special course on a unique bike. Children are also fascinated by the fun that is different from the usual bicycles♪

The ``pedal boat'' (30 minutes, 1,000 yen/tax included), an attraction imported directly from the United States that allows you to easily take a walk on the water, is extremely stable! Please relax and be healed on the water.

The "Dog Run" (exclusively for hotel guests/use fee: 900 yen/tax included) is approximately 800 square meters in size and is divided into a space for large dogs and a space for small dogs. Of course, there is also a shower for pets!

For dinner, enjoy "American BBQ" (reservation required) that brings out the flavor of the ingredients! At Japanese campsites, you often see square box grills without lids, but in Europe and America, types with lids are more common.

The lid allows the heat to spread throughout the food, ensuring even thick meat is thoroughly cooked. You can also smoke it, which greatly expands your cooking options!

In addition, as a morning service exclusively for hotel guests, a set of French toast made with plenty of eggs and coffee is provided free of charge. This menu is perfect for a refreshing morning.

The limited-time lunch service "Hot Dog Takeout" (380 yen/tax included) is also popular. ``Chicago style'' with onions, tomatoes, and pickles finished with celery salt is extremely filling!

The events held every month are also something to look forward to. The ``Easter Party,'' where the egg hunting game ``Egg Hunt'' was popular, was a special time unique to the Everglades.

During the coronavirus pandemic, "Ise-Shima Everglades" is advocating "Just Camp - Refresh yourself by avoiding the 3 Cs".
Mr. Murayama says, ``If you breathe in fresh air and take a deep breath, you will feel the power to live.We need the power of camping now to avoid giving in to the threat of coronavirus.''

Would you like to spend a relaxing time at this spot where you can enjoy a variety of American-style camping?
