A popular work stay in KomonoTown! Report on three fulfilling days using “electric mobility”

Have you ever heard the word "workation" lately? A word coined from the combination of "work" (labor) and "vacation" (vacation), it is a new way of spending time at tourist destinations by working remotely and taking vacation while working.

KomonoTown is full of charm and is perfect for a new way of working that allows you to balance work and vacation. This time, I will report on a workcation stay with a family of four using "electric mobility"!

The first day of this work week is Friday.
After arriving at Happu Campsite, first go to the workation room on the premises. Check your email on your computer. The room is equipped with WiFi, so you can work smoothly.

Meanwhile, mothers and children can experience horseback riding at "Horseback Club La Chevauche"!
It takes about 20 minutes to arrive at Happu Campsite using electric mobility. It was a first experience for the mother, but she seemed to enjoy riding as it was a one-on-one lesson.

``I want to work in a location full of nature!'' So we moved to the private barbecue area ``Azumiya'' at ``Happu Campsite'' and had a remote meeting.
The topic of ``unexpected background'' sparked a conversation with a colleague who was far away, and we had a very informative meeting!

The mother and children returned from the ``Horseback Club La Chebauche,'' and the father's work was completed successfully.
Start camping and have fun with the whole family!

Setting up the tent was a bit of a struggle, but that's part of the fun of camping.

Next, we headed to the Tochitani River, which flows through the premises.
The water was very clear and we found some fish swimming happily! Everyone was overjoyed!

The long-awaited "barbecue time" for dinner. I'm happy to be able to enjoy a meal in a space full of nature!
The Happu campground has two covered barbecue facilities and three private barbecue facilities (for private use), and cooking supplies are also available for rent.

After the sun goes down, it's time for a campfire!
``Color Flame'' (300 yen/tax included *sold at the campground store), which changes flames to 7 colors when placed on fire, is also useful. When I suddenly looked up at the sky, I saw a sky full of stars! It's fun to talk about constellations with everyone.

Enjoy a delicious morning at a stylish cafe on a refreshing morning.
I usually have a hectic morning, but being able to spend time in the morning slowly like this is very valuable.

Next, try your hand at making pottery at the Kamoshika Dogu Store.
Try your hand at making pottery using tatara molding (3,000 yen per person/excluding tax). Draw your favorite pictures, add decorations, etc. Finally, choose a color and you're done.
I was told that I would be able to have the finished pottery sent to me at a later date. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed!

After completing the pottery experience, I spent the next few hours working. I headed to Yunoyama Onsen Yumoto Green Hotel by myself. Create a proposal in the workspace and adjust schedules for next week onwards.

The mother and children also arrived late at Yunoyama Onsen Yumoto Green Hotel. Lunch time at a spacious restaurant.

The next place the mother and children headed was GozaishoRopeway. During the 12-minute walk in the air, we spotted an antelope! I was also intrigued by the exhibits at Japan's only Ropeway Museum, located on the top of the mountain.

After finishing work, I checked in to "Aquaignis" as soon as possible. It is known as a spot where you can enjoy hot springs and sweets, but there are also lodging facilities here!

We made good use of our time together, and the mothers joined us as well. Arriving at "Aquaignis", the women who love sweets are back to life!

Tonight, we will be staying in an 8 tatami Japanese-style room in the accommodation building. Large enough for a family of four to relax.
After a short rest, I headed to Kataoka Onsen. The water is 100% natural hot spring with just the right amount of sliminess.
Your body will stay warm for a while after taking a bath.

For dinner, we had a course meal at the Japanese restaurant "Kasian"! You will be very satisfied with the seasonal menu, which uses Mie ingredients in a unique way. The children also enjoyed the delicious food.

In the morning of the third day, I visited Forest Adventure Yunoyama, an outdoor park that utilizes the forest as it is.
I finished work yesterday, so I'm going to enjoy my time with my family to the fullest today! Both adults and children will be thrilled by the attractions that can be enjoyed in a forest with a fantastic atmosphere!

The ``Adventure Course'' requires a 4th grade elementary school student or older, a height of 140 cm or more, and a weight of 130 kg, while the ``Zip Trip Course'' can be experienced by elementary school students in the lower grades who are 110 cm tall.
On the zip slide, parents and children start at the same time and scream at the same time! This is a facility that the four of us would like to come back to!

It takes no time for even children to get used to electric mobility. It has a pleasant acceleration feeling and is comfortable even when traveling long distances.

The end of this workday was a Kumiko experience at the ``Sakan Tategu Kogei''.
While learning techniques for decorating windows and shoji latticework without using nails, participants will divide into two groups and make trivets and coasters (3,000 yen for the pot holder, 2,000 yen for the coaster; both prices include tax).
As the difficulty level is high, the joy when each step goes well is even greater.

A stylish trivet and coaster are completed! I'm happy because it's something I can use on a daily basis. I have added another memento from my trip!

I experienced my first "workation" in KomonoTown and was amazed at the variety of tourist resources this town has.
