We covered Taki-TakiTown MagonomiseRestaurant! (April 2011)

"Welcome", "Tempura is ready", "Thank you very much". A cheerful voice rings out.

It's refreshing and pleasant, and even my heart is soaring♪ This is "MagonomiseRestaurant", run by the cooking club of Mie Prefectural oka High School, which was the setting for the TV drama.

`` MagonomiseRestaurant'' is a very hot shop located in the quiet mountain area of `` GokatsuraLake Furusato Village'' in Taki TakiTown, Mie Prefecture, which is famous for producing Ise GreenTea and Ise potatoes.

Cars with out-of-prefecture license plates are parked in the parking lot, and by the time the store opens, there are only a few left on the waiting list, which can be filled out from around 9:30, and the entrance to the store is overflowing with customers.

I ordered the most popular dish, ``Hana Gozen''. Crisply fried tempura, the rumored dashimaki omelet, stews that hold their shape with a strong dashi, and the most elaborate candied saury...

The students, who have won prizes in numerous cooking competitions both domestically and internationally, use local, seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are as delicious as adults.

【menu】
○Hana Gozen: MagonomiseRestaurant most popular signboard menu
○ MagonomiseRestaurant set meal: A set meal of hand-stretched boiled noodles made with Japanese Ise potatoes.
○ Chazuke set meal: Owase red sea bream sesame chazuke or Matsusaka meat chazuke set meal
○Ise-imo grated yam set meal: Seasonal set meal using specially produced Ise-imo potatoes
*All 1,200 yen
*If sufficient preparation cannot be made due to the student's training or exams, etc., only a flower meal may be served.

This wonderful taste is due to the loving and strict teachings of Mr. Murabayashi, who repeatedly and thoroughly teaches the ``basics'' and values the ``on-site'', ``authenticity/essence'', and ``moment/moment''. This is the result of the efforts of each and every student who continues to work hard day in and day out, putting on bandaids and putting on bandaids.

Another shop that is as popular as MagonomiseRestaurant is `` MagonomiseRestaurant Sweets.'' Open only on Saturdays. Biscuit roll, strawberry cheese Mont Blanc, smooth pudding... Everything looks irresistibly delicious☆

It seems that numbered tickets will be distributed, but unfortunately there were none left when I arrived at the store at 9:30. When I asked the people who were able to buy it, I heard that people started lining up from around 8:30.

In addition, for a limited time only on June 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th, and 27th, 2011, a ``Bus tour around MagonomiseRestaurant and IseJingu'' will be held (5000 yen). yen/reservation required at least 10 days in advance). This is great too!

By the way, GokatsuraLake Pond Furusato Village, where MagonomiseRestaurant is located, is an experience-based leisure facility run by a neighborhood association, which is rare even in Japan.

There is a ``Grandma's Store'' with fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits, a zoo ``Flower and Animal Contact Plaza'', a mini golf course ``Niconico Golf'', strawberry picking (mandarin orange picking and oyster picking in the fall), etc. You can enjoy various things♪

Seniors who graduated from oka High School and MagonomiseRestaurant have gone on to work in Japanese restaurants, restaurants, and food-related companies within and outside the prefecture.

``Senpai no Store'' located inside the shopping center is one of them. Our seniors sell safe and secure lunch boxes and side dishes that make use of local ingredients. As expected of a senior, this is also a collection of masterpieces! It seems that the lunch boxes will be sold out.

One of the famous spots in TakiTown is niu area. Since the Nara period, it has prospered as a source of high-quality mercury, and traces of this can still be seen in the rows of houses that still exist today.

Also, here is the Shingon sect temple niu no Daishi (Jinguji), which was founded in 774 and is associated with Kobo Daishi Kukai, and is crowded with many worshipers, especially during the spring and autumn festivals.

Seiwanosato Mameya is located right next to niu Daishi and has long lines. The rape blossoms were beautiful. Our concept is to pass on the wisdom and rich resources (raw materials and technology) of the elderly to the next generation.

The buffet, which uses locally grown seasonal ingredients, is very popular, with a focus on tofu, beans such as okara, and Shiarae, and the current favorites are horsetail and fukinoto! It's so delicious that you can't help but eat too much. It's also great to have tea with okara donuts or buy tofu or miso as souvenirs.

Our final destinations are Nakayama Herb and Medicinal Tree Park and Motojo no Yakata, which are located about 10 minutes from here. This is a little-known spot built in the birthplace of Motojo Noro, a pioneer of Japanese herbalism.

More than 250 types of medicinal herbs and trees, such as lavender, rosemary, and plums, are planted there, and the medicinal herbs and herb footbath (free of charge) inside the park are always full of repeat visitors. You can also eat there, and I recommend it.
