An art museum located in KomonoTown, at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains. Would you like to experience a moment where time passes quietly in a dignified atmosphere and surrounded by rich nature? (January 2011)

Special exhibition "Showa Banko and its genealogy" - from Meiji to Showa
I visited the museum for the ceremony.

Many Banko-Yaki are on display in the spacious interior. A little different from the thin, brown, everyday Banko-Yaki that we usually use, there are pieces that look like works of art.

In the early days of teapots, there were such wonderful teapots with red pictures. I thought it would be really delicious to make tea with this. (Maybe it's imprudent)

There was also a wonderful vase with a butterfly pattern, which made me realize once again the depth of Banko-Yaki.

There are picture plates like this that are perfect for the upcoming season, and as someone who loves cooking, I thought it would be a waste to just display them.

Banko-Yaki has a history of being made in various regions within the prefecture, and many valuable pieces remain.

It's a great way to trace the history of Mie Prefecture's traditional craft, Yokkaichi Banko-Yaki, by looking at the works.

Why not visit it once? You may discover something new.

The name Paramita at paramitamuseum comes from the Sanskrit word Haramita, which comes from Masuo Ikeda's ``Heart Sutra'' series, which is the main collection, and there are many statues of Kannon on display.

The museum shop also sells Mie crafts.
There are plenty of parking lots, and Ohaneen Station on the Kintetsu Yunoyama Line is nearby. Open all year round (excluding year-end and New Year holidays), business hours are from 9:30 to 17:30. (Admission until 17:00)
