*This article is the Japanese version of a report written in traditional Chinese by a Taiwanese writer for the traditional Chinese website "Mie Travel Information Book."
This article introduces the charms of Mie Prefecture for foreigners who use traditional Chinese, so your perspective may be a little different, but please enjoy it as well.

Mt.Gozaisho, located on the border of Mie and Shiga prefectures, is a famous peak with an altitude of 1212m that belongs to Suzuka Quasi-National Park. There are many alpine plants and flowers, and it is also called a famous mountain of 100 flowers.

The name ``Gozaisho'' seems to have come from the fact that Princess Wahime no Mikoto, who appears in the Nihon Shoki, used this place as a temporary palace on her way from Nara to Ise.

Mt.Gozaisho dake, which is beautiful in all seasons, is visited by many climbers and tourists not only from Japan but also from overseas.

When I asked tourists, ``Which season do you like most about Mt.Gozaisho?'' they answered, ``I like the silver world and the frost-covered trees.'' ``The season of autumn leaves, colored red, orange, and yellow, is the best.'' !”

``It's wonderful in spring when the azaleas are in full bloom♪'' ``In the summer, it's a great place to escape from the heat, and kids can enjoy it too.''

It's clear that this is a mountain you'll want to visit again and again, where you can enjoy the different faces of nature depending on the season.

As you tour Mt.Gozaisho, spectacular panoramic views await you wherever you go.

Now, let's actually ride GozaishoRopeway and head to Gozaisho Sanjo Park!

The view from GozaishoRopeway includes the Suzuka Mountains and various strangely shaped rocks.
Spreading out below you can see Yunoyama Onsen, Ise Bay, and even Nagoya City.

In fact, when the GozaishoRopeway opened in 1959, it was one of the largest ropeways in the world.
And even now, the height of this white No. 6 pillar is the tallest in Japan among all the ropeway towers in Japan.

The total length of GozaishoRopeway is 2161m, the maximum height difference is about 780m, and it takes about 15 minutes to get there from "Yunoyama Onsen Station" at the foot of Mt. Mt.Gozaisho to "Sanjo Koen Station" at the top of the mountain.

Gozaisho Sanjo Park is also maintained as a natural park, with five observation decks and observation decks, as well as restaurants, museums, and other facilities. It is a spot that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from adults to children.

From this observation deck, you can see the city of Nagoya, Centrair International Airport, and the Northern Alps of Nagano Prefecture in the distance.
If the conditions are right, you might even be able to see Mt. Fuji!

This is the view from the "Fujimi Rock Observation Deck" in the fresh, early summer.

As the name suggests, it is a spot where you can enjoy a spectacular view with a sense of openness, and was named because of the view of Mt. Fuji.

After getting off the ropeway, you can easily ride the sightseeing lift to the top, or if you have the stamina, you can try climbing on foot.

It takes about 8 minutes to reach the top by lift or about 30 minutes by foot.

We arrived at the top of Mt.Gozaisho.

This first-class triangulation point is the highest point on Mt.Gozaisho (1,212m above sea level) and was established in 1885.
It is also the prefectural border between Mie Prefecture and Shiga Prefecture.

If you pass through the torii gate on the way to Ontake Daigongen from the top of Mt. Mt.Gozaisho, you will see Choja Pond.

``Choja Pond'' is a mysterious small pond with fresh water gushing out between rocks, and is a shrine that has the power to heal illnesses, so we recommend taking a detour to see it.

With a refreshing sense of openness, the sacred ``Ontake Daigongen'' appeared before my eyes.

People often pray here for safety while climbing.

Gozaisho Ski Resort, located on Mt.Gozaisho, is the only ski resort in Mie Prefecture. There are advanced and beginner courses, and there is also a ski school, but snowboarding is prohibited.

It has good transportation links, so during the ski season it is crowded with skiers from Nagoya and the Kansai area.

``Snow Walk'' is a tour that takes you into a dream-like world where you walk with a guide through frost-covered tunnels and snowy forests.

Available only on weekday mornings, the longest walk is 1,000m and takes approximately 90 minutes.

Gozaisho Sanjo Park can be enjoyed from many different angles.

On the mountain on the left, you can see the rainfall radar (the one with the round roof), the observation restaurant Nature, and the sightseeing lift.

If you're a little tired, why not take a break at the observation restaurant Nature?

At Observatory Restaurant Nature, you can not only enjoy delicious food, but you can also enjoy the magnificent view while eating.

Directly in front of this large window is Mt. Kamagatake in the Suzuka Mountains of Mie Prefecture.

Today, we will eat Gozaisho's specialty, ``Gozaisho Curry Udon.''

The curry has a perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness and coats the noodles well, and is topped with the special braised pork.
If you order a set meal, it also comes with juicy fried chicken.

Local souvenirs are a must at the end of your trip.

After riding GozaishoRopeway down the mountain, head to the souvenir shop "Belle Foret" in front of Yunoyama Onsen Station.
Here, there are many cute sweets and goods with white steel towers and ropeways as motifs. How about using it as a souvenir from your trip?

If you like mountain climbing, we also recommend “Montbell Gozaisho store”!

Original outdoor goods and clothing exclusive to this store are also on sale, so it's the perfect way to commemorate conquering Mt.Gozaisho.

What did you think of Mt.Gozaisho, which is rich in nature?

At the foot of Mt.Gozaisho there is also Yunoyama Onsen, which is known as the ``hot spring of beauty.'' I think it would be a wonderful trip if you combine mountains and hot springs.

*To ensure safety, ropeway operation will be canceled if the wind speed exceeds 15m/s. Information such as daily operation status, snowfall, and frost-covered trees is updated on the official website.
