掲載日:2020.11.06

Go to Mie, a premium place that is a little different from others. A model course for adults, where you can enjoy luxury trains, top-quality branded beef, walking around the castle town, and an ocean resort overlooking the beautiful ria coastline. Depart from Kyoto and Osaka and tour Iga and Ise-Shima on the Kintetsu Kanko TheSightseeingLimitedExpressShimakaze Shimakaze.

Kintetsu's sightseeing express "Shimakaze" with the theme of "Going to Ise-Shima with the best hospitality"

From Kyoto or Osaka, take the luxury limited express train ``Kintetsu TheSightseeingLimitedExpressShimakaze'' to Iga. The soft seats are made of genuine leather and are fully equipped with electric reclining. There are 3 rows of seats, and there is a wide distance between the seats in front and the space is extremely luxurious.

The observation vehicle has a high seating surface and large glass windows, allowing you to experience the immersive view of the deep blue sky and greenery. The floor is 72 cm high, so you can feel like you're looking down on it, and the front as well as the sides are made of large glass, giving you a sense of openness and allowing you to enjoy the flowing scenery to your heart's content. Even among the observation vehicles, the front row directly behind the driver's seat is even more special. It's an irresistible feeling to be able to see the railroad tracks all the way ahead, and to look out over them as you move forward. You'll be hooked! Will there be a rush of reservations?

This is a cafe vehicle. Each restaurant has a counter facing the window, so you can enjoy meals and sweets made with local produce while enjoying the flowing scenery. It's nice to be able to enjoy local gourmet food such as Matsusaka beef curry and mandarin orange juice while riding the train.

This is the salon seat. It looks like a semi-private room, with seats facing each other across a large table, perfect for groups of 4 to 6 people. You can not only talk, but also eat and play games, so you can have a great time.

And a Japanese-style private room. The seating area here is shaped like a sunken kotatsu. You take off your shoes and it's a completely private room, so you can relax and feel like you're at home. In addition to video services such as BS broadcasting and room service from the cafe menu, there is also an air purifier.

Next is a Western-style private room. This is a Western-style version of a Japanese-style private room. The sofa is placed in an L-shape facing the window, so you can enjoy the view from the train window instead of watching the TV, giving it the image of a living room at home. It's very convenient, with mirrors and stools, and video programs for children.

The journey to Yamato Yagi Station is approximately 30 minutes from Osaka Namba Station and approximately 1 hour from Kyoto Station. Via Yamato-Yagi Station and Iga-kambe Station, it takes about an hour to arrive at Ueno-shi Station, the center of Iga travel.
*A Shimakaze special vehicle fee is required in addition to the train ticket and limited express ticket.
