Ino-san Farm...The president is Mr. Okada, so why is it called "Ino-san"?

When I saw the name ``Ino-san Farm'', I suddenly wondered, and when I asked President Okada why, he answered, ``The ``Ino-san'' in Ino-san Farm has two meanings! ”

The first is the French word Innocent, which has the meaning of "mujaki". When President Okada returned to his hometown, he said this to mean that he himself can do whatever he wants. That's wonderful!

Second, the old name of this land was Inokura. The name seems to have meant ``a warm place where people gather naturally,'' and that is what they wanted the farm to be like.
I see, I agree! President Okada's passion for the farm is reflected in this!

Visit the blueberry field at Ino-san Farm!

When you first entered the blueberry field, did you feel something strange? Can you see it in the photo? that's right. The ground is not "earth" but "concrete"!
Surprisingly, they are growing blueberries in pots on this concrete.
There are a whopping 1,013 pots of blueberries on the vast grounds! ! I was surprised by the number! The environment where the ground is not dirt means that you can work on the farm even in sneakers, and the environment is clean and comfortable for women to work in.

This blueberry field is a tourist farm where you can pick blueberries from mid-July to late August.
Ino-san Farm's blueberries are made to contain about twice as much anthocyanin as regular blueberries, which are said to have the ability to relieve eye strain and improve vision. That's what he said. That's amazing!

If you are concerned about your eyesight, why not visit us once?

Farming using science! ?

Why grow blueberries in pots? “This is because we can put science to use,” said President Okada.
Look at the previous photo. You can see the hose running over the tree like a pipeline across the farm. In fact, a uniquely blended nutrient solution flows through these pipes. The hose through which the solution flows is connected to each pot.

President Okada said, ``Our job is to prepare our own nutrient solution (fertilizer) to suit the climate and weather, and help trees reach their full potential!''

I see! At the same time, I was impressed by the fact that this agriculture is done using science.

The tourist farm “strawberry picking” is also famous!

This is a strawberry cultivation house.
Unfortunately, it was the off-season at the time of the interview. Apparently you can also go strawberry picking here during the season.
Of course, there are no pesticide residues, so enjoy your fill of safe and secure strawberries!

My encounter with agriculture during my university days changed my life.

President Okada graduated from a technical college in his hometown, Suzuka City SuzukaCity, and then went on to university in Yamagata. It was during this time that he first encountered the evolved form of agriculture through the cultivation of cherries.
At that time, he was surprised at how advanced agriculture was in the world, but after graduating from university, he got a job at a major listed company in Tokyo. Then, a turning point occurred in President Okada's life.

The president has a food allergy. Up until now, I have only experienced living in places rich in nature, such as Hakusan Town in Mie Prefecture and Yamagata Prefecture.
Living in Tokyo, his first city after becoming a member of society, was very difficult as the air, water, and food were all unsuitable for his body. Every time he has a day off from work, he returns to his hometown, Hakusan-cho in Mie, to improve his health, and then returns to Tokyo. Although he continued to live like this for a while, he realized once again the value and importance of the rich nature of his hometown, Hakusan Town, and decided to put an end to his life in Tokyo and start farming, thinking of how he could make use of this nature. is.

Now, he is taking on the challenge every day to utilize what he learned as a student to revitalize his hometown, Hakusan Town, through agriculture.
My dream for the future is to manufacture and sell sweets using agricultural products grown at Ino's farm and open a direct sales store. Developing a campground that takes advantage of Hakusan Town's nature. He has also obtained a hunter's license, and he enthusiastically told us that he has various dreams, such as being able to use it to make processed game products in the future.
