(An introductory image showing the coronavirus countermeasures is posted at the end of the article.) [Added on May 28, 2020] Mukai, the original meat mizutaki restaurant, is a long-established restaurant in Kameyama, a post town on Tokaido. Kameyama's specialty, ``Meat Mizutaki,'' which was created by the first owner and his wife through trial and error, is made with Matsusaka beef so marbled that you can't help but say, ``Wow! That's amazing!'' the moment it comes out. The cook will ensure that not only the meat but also the vegetables are served at the perfect time. The restaurant on the first floor has many menus where you can easily enjoy Matsusaka beef. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy the taste of Matsusaka beef, a Japanese brand of beef that Mie is proud of, as well as the once-in-a-lifetime hospitality.

When you go to visit Ise, try Matsusaka beef on the beef road from Tokaido to Sangu Kaido!
Matsusaka has sukiyaki, and Kameyama has Ise-Kameyama's specialty, ``Original Meat Mizutaki Restaurant ``Mukai.''

Tokaido Mukai" is a long-established restaurant established in 1935 in Kameyama, an inn town in the southernmost part of Tokyo, and is run by a butcher store where you can enjoy a variety of Matsusaka beef dishes.

Among them, the ``Original Meat Mizutaki'', created through trial and error by the first owner, is exquisite!
We use Marbled Matsusaka Beef that will have you saying "Wow! That's amazing" the moment it comes out, and our dedicated cooks will serve you not only the meat but also the vegetables at the perfect time.

The shop is about 12 minutes walk from Kameyama Station. It is located along Tokaido, about an 11-minute walk from Kameyama Park, which is also a tourist spot in Kameyama.

The restaurant is divided into the 1st and 2nd floors, with table seats on the 1st floor where you can enjoy Matsusaka beef at a reasonable price, and the 2nd floor where you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with your loved ones, such as business partners, family, and friends. It is a private room where you can enjoy a relaxing time.

When you hear beef mizutaki, do you mean shabu-shabu? I think some of you may have thought so. But it's not shabu-shabu.

At a time when shabu-shabu didn't exist yet, the first owner of the restaurant wanted to create a new specialty dish using Matsusaka beef, so he took a cue from Tecchiri and developed it using Matsusaka beef, which is thicker than shabu-shabu but slightly thinner than yakiniku. It is a ``hot pot'' that is cooked with vegetables in kelp soup stock.

Apparently it took a lot of effort to develop a sauce that would go well with Matsusaka beef, but the second generation has diligently kept the soy sauce-based secret sauce developed by the first generation.
We have a dedicated cook who will serve your food at the perfect time, so you don't have to worry about it being cooked properly.

The rice porridge made with vegetables and dashi stock full of the flavor of Matsusaka beef is also the best!
The rice porridge is an additional charge, but it is a dish you should definitely try. If you wish, please ask the cook.

Course contents: Appetizer, meat boiled in water, udon or rice, pickles, red soup stock, fruit
Price: From 8,000 yen per person (tax included)
*Photo shows 13,000 yen course for 5 people

In addition to mizutaki, the other courses you can enjoy in the Japanese-style room on the second floor are sukiyaki, stone-grilled, and steak.
As a meat specialty store, we pride ourselves on our home-cooked sukiyaki, which is the number one choice for Japanese meat dishes, and serve carefully selected Matsusaka beef from Mie Prefecture that has been aged at a controlled temperature and ready to eat.

Enjoy the taste of Japan in a relaxing Japanese-style room. This course is sure to please even foreign customers.

Course contents: Appetizer, sukiyaki, udon or rice, pickles, red soup stock, fruit
Price: From 8,000 yen per person (tax included)

This is stone grilled.
Stone grilling allows the oil to seep into the stone and allow the meat to cook through without burning, preserving the flavor of the meat and making it mellow and juicy.
Once you try it, you will be addicted to it.

The photo shows a 15,000 yen course for 3 people (tax included), and we also use the tenderest fillet, which only comes from a single cow.

Course contents: Appetizer, stone grilled rice, rice, pickles, red soup stock, fruit
Price: From 8,000 yen per person (tax included)

This is steak.
A perfectly voluminous 200g to 250g sirloin of specially selected Matsusaka beef with superb marbled texture!
The moment it comes out, you can't help but smile, and the smell of the meat sizzling on the griddle will whet your appetite.

Luxury meat that would cost more than 15,000 yen at other restaurants can be had for only 12,000 yen (tax included).
The fat of Matsusaka meat is very high quality and sweet, and it is said to be good for the body, so you can enjoy a stylish dinner with your loved one with a glass of red wine, or enjoy a bowl of white rice before an important work day. This is a great dish to have with a power-charging dinner.

There are 4 Japanese-style rooms on the 2nd floor, 2 rooms for 6 people and 2 rooms for 10 people.
Rooms for 10 people can be connected to accommodate up to 40 people.

We have a tatami room type and a tatami table type, so if you would like one, please let us know when making your reservation.

If you're thinking, "I want to try delicious Matsusaka beef, but I can't afford a full-course meal...", please wait a moment.
At the restaurant on the 1st floor, we have a menu where you can easily enjoy Matsusaka beef!

The owner's favorite is this Matsusaka beef Ushiju.
Exquisite seasoning and perfect grilling that does not interfere with the natural sweetness and flavor of Matsusaka beef.
The moment you put it in your mouth, the fat melts and the flavor of Matsusaka beef spreads throughout your mouth.
It's 2,000 yen (tax included) and contains 5 to 6 pieces of Matsusaka beef as thick as grilled meat, making it a satisfying meal.
Even the special version costs 2,500 yen (tax included), an amazing price that can only be found at a butcher shop.

Another recommendation is the ``Shigure-ju'', which is made with Matsusaka beef and topped with so much exquisite Shigure-ni that it almost covers the rice.
Shigure-ni, made by a butcher who knows all about the characteristics of meat, is exquisite in terms of seasoning and doneness.
The chopsticks go so far that you'll think, ``Then I noticed they were gone.''

This price is 2,200 yen (tax included).

I would like to enjoy Matsusaka beef with white rice instead of a rice bowl. For those who say so, we recommend the Matsusaka beef suki-nabe or the 100% Matsusaka beef hamburger.
Suki-nabe is a menu created so that you can easily enjoy the taste of a course meal, whether alone or at lunch.
A course on the second floor costs at least 6,000 yen, but lunch can be enjoyed for 3,000 yen (tax included).
Even if the meat is special, it costs 5,000 yen (tax included).

Would you like to treat yourself to lunch on a special day?

The 100% Matsusaka beef hamburger, handmade by the owner himself, comes with rice, soup, and coffee for 1,800 yen (tax included).

The juicy and juicy hamburger steak is so delicious that you can enjoy the flavor of Matsusaka beef on its own, but please enjoy it with our special demi-glace sauce to your liking.

For those who would like to enjoy something a little more affordable, you can enjoy ``Matsusaka Beef Meshi'' or ``Matsusaka Beef Soboro Meshi'' at a reasonable price of 1,200 yen (tax included).
``Beef Meshi'', like Ushiju, has an exquisite seasoning that does not overpower the deliciousness of Matsusaka beef.
When you think of ``soboromeshi,'' you might think of it as being for children, but this soboromeshi is flavored with ginger and is perfect for adults.

You can also try Kameyama B-class gourmet ``Kameyama Ramen'' and KameyamaMisoYakiUdon.''

KameyamaMisoYakiUdon is an arrangement of miso-yaki udon, which Kameyama families had often made and eaten for a long time, and started serving it to satisfy the stomachs of truck drivers who were plying the old National Route 1.
It all started when KameyamaMisoYakiUdon Honpo called it "KameyamaMisoYakiUdon" because they wanted more people to know about it and try it.

Mukai's `` KameyamaMisoYakiUdon'' is characterized by fluffy eggs that are placed on the iron plate.
Misoyaki may have a bit of a boring image, but KameyamaMisoYakiUdon is very light and not overwhelming.
When eaten with a fluffy egg, it has an even milder taste and is very easy to eat.
With chewy sukiyaki udon, plenty of beef, pork, and vegetables, and an egg cooked on the griddle, it's very filling.

Kameyama Ramen, a local ramen, was developed by the Kameyama Ramen Association in KameyamaCity Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mie Prefecture in order to further liven up Mie Prefecture.

The conditions for Kameyama ramen are
・Uses Kameyama Ramen's original miso-based "beef bone miso soup," which is a combination of three types of miso: red miso, soybean miso, and barley miso, based on beef bone extract.
・Noodles must be made from Nishinokaori wheat flour produced in Mie Prefecture.

・Agricultural products from Mie Prefecture. Using oyster mushrooms, Hatake shimeji mushrooms, and Hanabiratake mushrooms as ingredients
is.

Won the grand prize at the "Local Ramen Grand Prix 2013" held on the site "Gurutabi" sponsored by Gurunavi, and Sanyo Foods won the "Sapporo Ichiban Mie Kameyama Ramen Beef Bone Miso Flavor" to commemorate IseShimaSummit This is a local ramen that has even been commercialized.

The secret to its deliciousness is the sweet soup made by simmering beef bones and vegetables for 6 hours, and the lightly stir-fried mushrooms from Mie Prefecture, called ``Hanabiratake'', which are known as ``phantom mushrooms,'' and ``Hanabiratake'', which has an outstanding umami flavor, and ``Hatakeshimeji'', which has a strong aroma. By adding , the umami permeates through even more, and it goes perfectly with the mellow, rich-flavored miso blended with the three ingredients, making this beef bone miso soup addictive. Once you try it, you'll be addicted to it.

What's more, I was surprised to find that the Kameyama ramen across the street contains chunks of Matsusaka beef that are the size of a diced steak.
The soup is also buttery and has a very mellow and creamy taste.
You can also enjoy changing the taste by adding the chili oil, Japanese pepper, black pepper, and garlic prepared at the table to your liking! Garlic and Japanese pepper are recommended.

Price: 1,500 yen (tax included) with special Matsusaka beef, which is a great value.

The most famous dish, Matsusaka beef mizutaki, has been introduced in many gourmet information and has been visited by many celebrities.

Haruka Minowa and Yuriyan Retriever in "Hanasaka Times", Eiji Bando in "Bando Research That I Want to Know", Udo-chan from Cain in "Sorry to Travel", and After the Rain in "Let's Go Have Fun!" Hoto-chan from Kesshitai, Yoshizumi Ishihara from "Discovery Wakuwaku MYTOWN", Monkicky from "PS", etc.
It's no wonder that there are many "fans" from other prefectures who travel to Kameyama just to eat this mizutaki.

Mukai is the original meat mizutaki restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of Matsusaka beef dishes.
“We want people to smile while relaxing and enjoying the company around one thing.”
