[Interview Report] You will be healed by Minamiise's "beautiful nature" and "heartwarming hospitality." Introducing the inns participating in “Oinaisa Campaign 2019 Summer”!

Start your trip MinamiiseTown with a filling meal. Approximately 30 minutes from the Tamaki IC on the Ise Expressway, you will arrive at the restaurant Sendo. The location of the store is very easy to find, as it is located along a straight mountain road.

There are tatami rooms and counter seats inside the restaurant, and the atmosphere is relaxing. If you want to enjoy your meal slowly, choose a tatami room!

We ordered the popular menu "A Lunch" where you can enjoy sashimi and fried food. All of the dishes that make use of the quality of locally sourced ingredients are satisfying! The fried shrimp is fried to order and is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, so we highly recommend it.

Mr. and Mrs. Takeuchi are running the store, which will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary. The charm of this restaurant is the warm atmosphere created by the two of them. It's no wonder it's so popular that customers keep coming in right after it opens.

After filling our stomachs, we will go to a spot where we can learn about the history and culture of MinamiiseTown. “Aisu no Yakata” is located in MinamiiseTown where the town hall is located.

The Aishu clan was active in Ise from the Nanbokucho period to the Sengoku period. Among the members of this family, many materials are on display about ``Aisu Kosai Hisatada,'' who created a school of kendo called ``Aisu Kage-ryu.'' This ``Aisu Kage-ryu'' later gave birth to many branches, such as the Shinkage-ryu and the Yagyu Shinkage-ryu.

Seeing things related to Aishu Ikosai Hisatada, who founded a school of swordsmanship that spread throughout the country, up close gives me a chilling feeling.

In addition, there are rows of folk utensils that convey the history and culture of MinamiiseTown. Divided into genres such as ``Mountain Work,'' ``Sea Work,'' and ``Agricultural Work,'' it's very easy to understand ``what was used and how!''

Mr. Nakamura, a staff member, carefully guided us around the facility. Hold a bamboo sword in a cool stance! The person who invented the shinai for kendo is said to be Kamiizumi Isekami Nobutsuna, the founder of Shinkage-ryu. I learned about the greatness of ``Aisu Ikosai Hisatada,'' who founded the original school of Shinke-ryu.

I would like to climb Mt. Gokasho Sengen to fully enjoy the nature of MinamiiseTown! There was a trailhead about 5 minutes north from ``Aisu no Yakata''.

The higher you climb, the steeper the trail becomes. There are many places that are not maintained, so it can be nerve-wracking and nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured if you bring basic mountain climbing equipment.

It takes about 30 minutes from the trailhead to reach the summit at an altitude of approximately 180m. The torii gate is a landmark. It feels so good to sweat and feel the refreshing breeze at the top!

The view from the top is more beautiful than you can imagine! It's a place where you can get to know the wonderful location of MinamiiseTown which is surrounded by mountains and the sea.

The inn for this 1 night and 2 day trip was Hamaguchiya, an inn located in the Tasoura area, which is a popular fishing spot. The exterior gives off a nostalgic feel that instantly lifts your mood.

Climb the stairs next to the entrance and go to the Japanese-style room on the second floor. The unpretentious and comfortable atmosphere makes it the perfect accommodation for an outing!

The great view from the room is one of the charms of this place. You'll want to keep looking at the nearby Tasoura fishing port, and the blend of the wide ocean and the forest beyond. Another reason for its popularity is that you can enjoy a panoramic sunset.

The long-awaited dinner! If you use the "Oinaisa Campaign 2019 Summer" accommodation plan, you can stay for 7,800 yen (excluding tax) per person, including 1 night and 2 meals. I received abalone from MinamiiseTown (150g or more/from 3,000 yen/excluding tax) using the campaign benefit "Abalone? Tuna? Choice of options". Freshly harvested abalone is thick, sweet, and has a delicious crunchy texture!

The host, Mr. Sumihiro Hamaguchi, was kind and helpful in all matters. You can relax and enjoy the food. Lastly, I received a gift certificate (worth 1,000 yen) for the "Oinaisa Campaign 2019 Summer". thank you very much!

On the second day, we will try the main event of this trip: skydiving! It has been possible to do this in MinamiiseTown since last year. We visited the Ise-Shima Skydiving Club at TasoShirahamaBeach where you can experience a variety of marine sports. After signing the contract and taking a safety course, we put on the tandem (two-seater) harness. My heart is gradually pounding!

Take a helicopter to an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet (approximately 3,000 meters). The excitement is at its peak!

At the instructor's signal, dive into the sky! ! ! Experience free fall at a speed of about 250km/h for about 1 minute! The ultimate refreshing feeling! !

When the parachute opens, it is hit by strong air resistance and slows down. From there it will slowly descend. The view of Ise-Shima's ``Rias-style coast,'' which is a complex of narrow bays and coves, from this height is so breathtaking that you will fall in love with it! I was able to reaffirm the majesty of Mie Prefecture's nature.

The instructors at the "Ise Shima Skydiving Club" are seasoned professionals who come from New Zealand. He was a "nice guy" who was always there to talk to me from preparation to landing on the ground, so I was able to enjoy the ride with peace of mind. Additionally, the instructor will use a camera attached to his arm to take video and still images, so you can enjoy watching the images of yourself flying through the sky later.

After completing a skydive, the feeling of elation lasts for a while. After I calmed down a bit, I started getting hungry, so I went to the BBQ restaurant ``WOOD FIRE MEAT BEER'' on the premises of `` TasoShirahamaBeach.'' I ordered the steak menu (1 person/2,500 yen/tax included/includes bread, salad, drink, and dessert), which is only available for lunch (11:00-14:00). American shoulder loin meat is tender and juicy!

The sweets menu is also extensive. Pancakes are also served with colorful fruits. I'm happy to be able to enjoy the resort feeling! At TasoShirahamaBeach, in addition to skydiving, you can enjoy a variety of other experiences such as sightseeing flights, banana boats, and biscuit boats. There are also lodging buildings, so you can stay overnight and enjoy the nature of Ise-Shima. We also recommend doing so!

About 20 minutes by car from the Tasoura area, I returned to the Gokasho area, the center of MinamiiseTown. At the end of your trip, you want to buy souvenirs! I will stop by Pearl Hayashi, a shop with a nice Western-style exterior.

Inside the store, you can find original necklaces and earrings made with carefully selected pearls by the owner himself.

This store is particular about not selling online because they want people to see, touch, wear, and experience the beauty of real pearls before they buy. Necklaces that can be used for formal occasions are one of our most popular products.

I purchased a necklace that is easy to wear everyday. The price is also reasonable, at around 10,000 yen. My wish to "buy pearls in Ise-Shima" has come true!

Here, you can use the gift certificate (worth 1,000 yen) of "Oinaisa Campaign 2019 Summer". We are happy to provide services that allow you to enjoy your trip at a great value! !

The owner, Masaya Hayashi, is a ``pearl professional'' who is certified as a ``pearl instructor'' by the Pearl Science Research Institute. She was a very friendly person and taught me a lot about pearls. thank you very much!

This is the end of our 1 night and 2 day trip MinamiiseTown. The highlight is definitely “skydiving”! Being able to see the spectacular view of Ise-Shima from above will be a treasure of my life. I also enjoyed the gourmet food and time at the inn, and had a wonderful time!
