The purpose of this trip was to explore the charms of SuzukaCity, with a focus on Mie Prefecture's leading leisure spot, SuzukaCircuit. First, let's have fun at "SuzukaCircuit" and then go look for unique shops!

Start your 1-night, 2-day trip from the "SuzukaCity Tourist Information Center" right near Kintetsu Shirako Station!

Inside the information center, there are many pamphlets and maps about SuzukaCity, making it a perfect spot to get tourist information.

If you want to know more information about SuzukaCity, we recommend asking the staff. He is friendly and gives me a lot of information.

About 15 minutes by car from the SuzukaCity Tourist Information Center, we arrived at SuzukaCircuit.
It is a ``sacred place for motorsports'' where races such as the ``F1 Japan GP'' and the ``Suzuka 8 Hours'' are held.
There is an amusement park, hotel, and restaurant on the premises, making it a facility that everyone from small children to adults can enjoy.

Summer is in full swing. This time, let's have fun at "Aqua Adventure" which has 5 pools and 3 slides!
*Open until September 9th (Sunday) in 2018. The photo shows the "Adventure Pool" where you can enjoy various adventures centered around the erupting volcano "Aqua Mountain".

“Adventure Slider”’s “Power Battle Slide” is thrilling! When the total time of two people skating at the same time clears the target, a salute is fired and you receive a "power band" as proof of your accomplishment.
*Usage restriction: 120cm or more (no age restriction)

The lazy river "Adonventure River" is popular with families with small children.
If you're tired from playing all the time, you can relax and float around here.

The special event ``Aqua Mountain Splash Party'' is a show in which large amounts of water are released along with music and dance. This area has become very popular!
*Holding dates: Every day from July 21st (Sat) to August 31st (Fri). Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from September 1st (Sat) to September 9th (Sun). Time: 13:00~.

The adventure area also has plenty of gourmet food!
``Adventure Grill'' focuses on hamburgers and has a menu that the whole family can enjoy. The photo shows "Thai-style gapao rice & hamburger" (1,100 yen/tax included).

The appeal of SuzukaCircuit is that you can enjoy 28 different attractions at the amusement park while wearing a swimsuit while playing "Aqua Adventure"!
For those who feel embarrassed wearing their swimsuits, you can also rent T-shirts for free.

A recommended summer-only sweet is the "Watermelon Shaved Ice" (1,800 yen/tax included) sold at Pucci Town Kitchen.
A very unique menu with a whole watermelon on top of shaved ice for 10 people! You can enjoy watermelon splitting before eating, and everyone will have a great time!

I was tired from playing, so I checked into the hotel.
This time we will be staying at the ``Click here Family Room'' in the ``West Building'' of the `` SuzukaCircuit Hotel.'' It is designed to be friendly to small children and babies, including a ``low bed'' where families can sleep together.
This way, everyone can feel safe and have a relaxing time.

Next, we went to the hot springs, which is one of the fun things to do.
``Natural Hot Spring Kur Garden'' has a large public bath, open-air bath, and sauna that are all spacious. I was surprised at the thoroughness of the Suzuka SuzukaCircuit, which has a hot spring pool area and is full of fun no matter where you go.
I was able to relax and feel healed.

Once you get out of the hot springs, it's time for dinner. Go to the Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet restaurant "Sora Tabeyo".
You can enjoy about 60 different menus using plenty of seasonal ingredients. Another reason for its popularity is its wide variety of sweets. Everything was delicious and I ended up eating way too much.

I had so much fun at SuzukaCircuit that the day passed in the blink of an eye♪

On the second day, we first went to a restaurant to enjoy lunch.
There is a shop called ``Lanterna'' about 5 minutes by car from `` SuzukaCircuit.''

The interior is reminiscent of a "European restaurant."
A stylish yet homely atmosphere. You can also feel the attention to detail in the interior design, including the lighting.

I ordered the ``Recommended Chef Lunch'' (1,480 yen/tax included), which comes with pasta or pizza (half size), salad and dessert.
The pasta I chose was the signature menu, ``Blue Crab in Tomato Cream Sauce'' (additional 480 yen if you choose this menu). First of all, its appearance is intense! This is a menu that will definitely look great on SNS.
The flavor of the crab and the rich tomato sauce intertwine for a rich and delicious dish!

``Crispy Lettuce Salad'' and ``3 Types of Recommended Dolce'' come with the ``Recommended Chef Lunch''.
Bread and drinks are self-service with free refills. I felt so happy that I was able to enjoy a luxurious lunch!

The owner and chef, Mr. Oketani, opened this restaurant after training in Italy with the aim of creating ``Italian food that you can eat every day and never get tired of.''
Mr. Oketani's warm personality shines through in the casual atmosphere of the shop. Thank you for the wonderful lunch time!

I heard that there was a locally famous Japanese sweets shop near Lanterna, so I decided to go there.
This is Toraya Shogetsu, which has been in business for over 50 years. The store has a stylish appearance that resembles a ``Japanese house with a tiled roof.''

The store is full of sweets made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
We also have a wide selection of gift items.

The popular item ``Suzuka no Shunpu Rider Monaka'' (125 yen/tax included).
A product unique to Suzuka, perfect as a souvenir! It's filled with ``large red bean paste'' that takes a lot of effort to make, and is very satisfying to eat.

Another specialty item is this "Suzuka Oyama Nyudo-san" (135 yen/piece including tax).
The dough surrounding the red bean paste has a fluffy texture that melts in your mouth. “Cinnamon flavor” is also popular!

Terukatsu Tanaka is the second generation owner. While inheriting the taste from the first generation, we are also pursuing new flavors that suit today's times.
I was very happy to be able to buy souvenirs that can only be found in this area. Thank you very much!

The last place we visited was Midori no Daichi, an agricultural direct sales store that sells Suzuka's delicious food.
I would like to continue looking for souvenirs here.

We have a full lineup of safe, secure, and delicious products, including fresh agricultural products.
I bought some brightly colored vegetables as souvenirs.
