Ryokan in a location full of natural beauty

In addition to its scenic location in Ise-Shima, Ryoso Umi no Cho prides itself on its ``delicious locally sourced'' cuisine, where you can enjoy locally grown ingredients while they are still fresh. We also have a reputation for the beauty of each item.

Built on a hill with a panoramic view of Ise Bay, the dynamic scenery of nature that can be seen from the inn invites your travel desires.
Let's go inside and introduce it in detail.

From the lobby and lounge, you can feel the hospitality of this inn.

The ``ikebana'' that can be seen throughout the restaurant is one of the specialties of the proprietress, who served as the steering committee chairperson for the ``National Landlady Summit.'' You can feel the attention to detail in each and every piece of furniture from a variety of genres, and there are many things to see.

“Attractive cuisine” that pays attention to not only the taste but also the beauty of the appearance.

The ingredients used in our dishes, from seafood to vegetables and fruits, are carefully selected based on the concept of local production for local consumption.
Our desire to enjoy the freshness of our ingredients is reflected in our culinary concept: ``Local deliciousness.''

For the Ise lobster, we use only natural products harvested from the waters around Ise. When eaten as sashimi, you can fully enjoy its elastic texture and deep sweetness.
In addition, ``Umi no Chou'' is particular about the beauty of its appearance. We use seasonal flowers and plants to create an attractive item.

The abalone is also carefully selected, so whether you make it as sashimi, steak, or boil it tenderly, the aroma of the ocean that fills your mouth is irresistible!

For Matsusaka beef, they only use certified A4 to A5 grade meat. Meat with fine grains has a mellow flavor!

The dining venue is Nagomi, a private dining room. Enjoy the inn's signature cuisine to your heart's content in an elegant private room where you can dine in peace.
*Meals in your room are also available upon request.

Spend a relaxing time in a luxurious “private space”

The rooms at ``Umi no Chou'' have an ocean view.
You can see a panoramic view of the ocean that spreads out in front of you, and its beauty is overwhelming! You can spend a relaxing time in a high-quality space.

"Umi no Chou" consists of two buildings, "Shirachokan" and "Asukakan". "Shirachokan" is a guest room building with high-grade special rooms. The Japanese-Western style rooms on the special floor ``Hanaju'' on the top floor are especially popular.
There is a Japanese-style room with 6 tatami mats and a Western-style room with twin beds, each with a balcony. In front of you is a view unique to the top floor.

The Japanese-style room of Hanashaju, located on the same special floor, is a space where Japanese sensibilities are firmly alive. I feel like my mind is calming down!

``Asukakan'' is characterized by having guest rooms with open-air baths. The ``Suite Room'' is luxurious with an open-air bath attached to the Japanese-style room and living room.

An open-air bath that will make you feel like you have the spectacular view all to yourself. The night view of the sea also has a different atmosphere than the daytime view.

The largest guest room at this inn is Shirochokan's ``Kihin Room.'' There are 2 Japanese-style rooms and a bedroom, and the bath has a Jacuzzi.
The classy furniture also creates a special feeling in this room.
This is the room where you want to stay with someone special on a special day.

Relax in the open-air bath while feeling the sea breeze!

The natural hot spring open-air bath is also popular!
You can relax and soak in the hot spring while looking out at the ocean that stretches out in front of you. Soaking in a hot spring while feeling the sea breeze and the sound of waves is the best way to heal.

The public bath uses hot water that has been filtered from underground water (groundwater that is naturally filtered underground) flowing through sand and gravel layers using ``Bakuhanseki''.

* "Maifan stone": A stone with a large amount of mineral elution, and is called a "medicine stone" in China.
*Day trip bathing is not available.

“Rich nature” that brings out the joy of each season

In spring, the 1,000 cherry trees surrounding the inn burst into full bloom. This area is named ``Ikenoura Sakura no Sato'' and is known as a ``cherry blossom viewing spot.''
Many customers enjoy cherry blossom viewing while enjoying coffee or tea in this observation lounge.

"Ikenoura Seaside Beach" is located just a short walk from the inn. The shallow terrain and safe water quality make it a great place for children to play.

This BBQ plan to enjoy on the beach is very popular among young people.
From spring to summer, there are ``seafood courses'' and ``meat courses,'' and in winter, you can enjoy BBQ oysters.

*Plan with BBQ dinner. Reservation required. Please contact us for more information.

The "Garden Pool" is surrounded by greenery and flowers and is large enough for both adults and children to enjoy.
The resort-like circular design and the parasols by the pool will get you excited!

*Opens around early July every year. Please contact us for more information.

I was surprised to find that within the grounds is Awamiko Shrine, one of the sub-shrines of Kotaijingu (Naiku)! It enshrines ``Susano-no-Mikoto-no-Tama-Michinushi-no-Mikoto'', who is said to be the god of coastal protection.

Umi no Cho is a ryokan that takes advantage of the charms of the Ise-Shima region, such as its cuisine and location, while adding a unique sense of hospitality to bring happiness and healing to its visitors. I felt the Japanese spirit that lives in the space and service.
