Isaka Dam Cycle Park is a place where you can enjoy cycling on a dam circuit surrounded by seasonal nature. You can rediscover the joy of riding a bicycle by riding over 20 different types of bicycles. Walking and running are also OK! They also rent out bicycles, so it's a spot where you can easily go and refresh yourself.

Isaka Dam Cycle Park in YokkaichiCity has a 3.6km cycle course that goes around a dam lake surrounded by greenery, as well as unique bicycles, where everyone from small children to adults can refresh.

Recently, I went out with my mom and a 5-year-old girl who just learned to ride a bike!

First, please check in at the management office.
It's 600 meters from the ``Cycle Plaza'' where you can play with the unusual bicycle you're looking for, so first rent a bicycle here.
We have a wide variety of bicycles for children, adults, and even two-seater bicycles!

I asked the staff to check the size etc.
Children (elementary school age and younger) must wear a helmet, so you can bring your own or rent one.
There are also bicycles that can carry infants, so not only children who can ride on their own, but also small children can enjoy riding with their parents.

Parents and children chose tandem bicycles, which are bicycles for two people.
Don't worry, the staff will carefully teach you how to ride.

The mother who rides in front takes the lead, and the two of us row in unison. Even as a first-time parent and child, we were able to move forward smoothly.

Cross the bridge and run around the dam. Cycling while enjoying the pleasant breeze from the lake is special!

On the day I interviewed, it was mid-November, and the trees around the dam were starting to turn red, making it very beautiful.
In spring, you can enjoy seasonal scenery such as cherry blossoms.

Arrived at "Cycle Plaza"! Park the bicycle you just rode and go to the reception desk.

Here you'll find a variety of unique bicycles, including a 4-seater classic car type, a 2-seater panda, and a 3-seater bike like the one you see in anime!
You can change bicycles as many times as you like within the specified time, so you can change bicycles as many times as you like.

There are 36 unique bicycles...all unique! I'm confused as to where to start.

Let's take a look at what types there are.

First is the "Crab Running Cycle" (two-seater).

An interesting bicycle that runs sideways when you pedal. It moves like a crab...it can even curve.
Please take a ride and experience the mysterious sensation that goes beyond the norm.

Next is "Panda" (3 seater).

The long panda can accommodate up to 3 people.
The cute panda bicycle is a popular activity that can be enjoyed by parents, children, and siblings alike.

There is also a ``dolphin'' (two-seater) that moves forward and up and down when you pedal, and...

The police car "Tyrolean NO2" (two-seater) with Yokkaichi Police written on it is also popular among boys.

The Quartet (four-seater) has a classic atmosphere and can be enjoyed by families.

This is "Rocket Cycle".

It has a single lever like the cockpit of a rocket, and is a new type of bicycle that allows you to control the steering wheel and brakes using just the lever.

There are many different types of unique bicycles, and even small children can easily ride them by themselves, so the children who came as models seemed to have fun.

Mom seemed to be enjoying herself, saying, ``It's been a long time since I've ridden a bike, and it was fun♪''

There is also a dedicated course next door where you can try your hand at motocross cycling.

*For safety reasons, the use of motocross vehicles is limited to those over 120cm tall.

At the Chibikko Car Corner, you can enjoy three types of cars.

Insert coins and drive an ambulance or fire truck around the plaza♪ It feels refreshing and fun!

There is also a lawn area right next door, where you can eat lunch or take a leisurely stroll. When I visited this time, there were many people enjoying walking.

``I'm going to run a marathon with my daughter this time, so training for the marathon seems like a good time.I'm thinking of going again.''It seems that the model parent and child are also fond of it.

*Walking, running, etc. are free of charge.

I returned to the reception desk and this time I tried practicing cycling.
Perfect for practicing cycling for model girls who have just learned to ride a bicycle.

It's a private course where there are no cars, so it's perfect for practicing cycling.

There are restrooms and diaper changing stations next to the management office, and there are also restrooms in the cycle plaza.

There is also a spot near the parking lot where you can sit on a bench and admire the scenery around the dam. A perfect spot to enjoy a holiday with your family.

Be sure to check out "Isaka Dam Cycle Park" where you can get some exercise and feel refreshed ♪
