[What is the Tour of Japan? ]
The Tour of Japan is one of only six international bicycle road races in Japan sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI).
Because it uses public roads, it's a powerful sporting event where athletes run right in front of the audience!

[Is the Tour of Japan a great tournament? ]
Of the six UCI-sanctioned races in Japan, the Tour of Japan boasts the largest scale and attendance.
Usually, there is only one stage race per country that is named after that country, so the Tour of Japan can truly be called Japan's representative bicycle road race! !

[What is Inabe Stage? ]
The Tour of Japan is a "stage race" that takes place over 8 stages over 8 days traveling throughout Japan. The first stage begins in Sakai (Sunday, May 20th), and the eighth stage ends in Tokyo (Sunday, May 27th). The Inabe stage, which will be held on May 22nd (Tuesday), is the third stage.

[What is stage race? ]
A race held over multiple days is called a stage race, and in addition to competing for time, there are various awards such as section awards and newcomer awards. The overall winner of the Tour of Japan will be the player who finishes the fastest distance, covering a total distance of 764.3km over 8 days.

[What kind of people will participate? ]
A total of 16 teams will be participating, including 8 overseas teams and 8 domestic teams, including famous overseas teams and Japanese national teams!
Among the domestic teams, the Kinan Cycling Team, based in Mie, Wakayama, and Aichi, will also be participating.
Kinan Cycling Team is the ``home team'' of the Inabe Stage.

[What is the home team? ]
The "home team" is set for each stage from among the participating domestic teams.
The aim is to increase the enthusiasm of the local people to ``support the home team!'' and liven up the tournament, and the players sometimes interact directly with local people through events and other events.
Let's all support the home team of the Inabe Stage, the Kinan Cycling Team! !

[How can I watch the game? ]
You can make your own viewing plan using the course map as a reference, but if this is your first time watching a game, we recommend watching the game on the large screen set up at the main venue, InabeCity Bairin Park.
The main venue is also the finishing point, so you can watch the progress of the race with a large screen and watch the finish line up close!

Near the main venue, there is a steep hill with a gradient of 17% that is one of the highlights of the race.
Watching the game here is also very impressive and highly recommended!

[Is it fun to go with family? ]
On the day of the event, there will be many booths selling official goods and food and beverages at the main venue, InabeCity Bairin Park.
Last year, a total of 20 booths were set up and the event was crowded with people! There are plenty of delicious foods to choose from, including Inabe's specialty soba, sweet Sakura Pork dishes, and Inabe no Chappurin, a sweet made with tea grown in the city. It's like a festival!

This is pizza baked in a pizza oven that was very popular last year!
Freshly baked pizza looks so delicious! There are many other stores scheduled to open, so you'll be very satisfied with your stomach being filled (^^♪

Additionally, on the day of the event, NTN Corporation will be holding a hands-on outdoor class called ``Rotating School.'' You can participate in workshops and experiential learning, and even receive souvenirs! !
*The number is limited, so please arrive early.

Check the flyer for details! !
