I went to Rokkaen in KuwanaCity!

掲載日:2014.09.14

I went to Rokkaen where the Western-style building had been repaired at the end of August 2014! It has been restored to its original appearance when it first opened, and is beautiful.
It is attracting attention as it is used as a filming location for movies and television.

I went to Rokkaen where the Western-style building had been repaired at the end of August 2014!
We were repairing some of the exterior walls and interior of the Western-style building, but the work was completed successfully. The first thing you see when you enter is the beautiful Western-style building.

On the day of the interview, it was a beautiful sunny day, and the lawn and the newly repainted exterior walls of the Western-style building stood out beautifully.

Rokkaen (formerly Moroto Seiroku Residence) was completed in 1913 as the residence of the second generation Moroto Seiroku, a Kuwana businessman. It is currently owned by KuwanaCity and open to the public. The entrance to the Western-style building has a high ceiling and is spacious.

This is the guest room. There are also wonderful views of the garden outside. The site area is vast at 18,000 square meters (!).

View of the garden from the second floor. This is also an elegant view.

This is the view of the garden from the Japanese-style building next door. The view is on the opposite side of the garden seen from the Western-style building, but the atmosphere is completely different. By the way, weddings are sometimes held at Rokkaen, and a pre-wedding photoshoot was being taken on the day of the interview (I'm jealous...).

You can walk around the garden and see the Western-style building from the pond. You can enjoy not only the building but also the beautiful garden.

Finally... There is also a Shichiri no Watari site nearby, so you can go around it together.
There are other delicious shops and shops where you can buy souvenirs in KuwanaCity, so please take your time and browse around. Kuwanameshi is also recommended.
