Two young men, Sota and Rakuto, set out on a journey to find the Phoenix, which shouldn't exist. What is the Phoenix that the protagonists are looking for? ? ``Chicken☆Phoenix'' is an unusual romantic road movie that will make you laugh, cry, and laugh again.
Ninety-eight percent of ``Chicken☆Phoenix,'' a new movie directed by Kanata Wolf starring Arata Iura and Ryo Narita, was shot in Ise-Shima, Mie Prefecture. ASOBISIA has selected points of interest from among the filming locations and interviewed them, so we would like to introduce them to you!

A trio of close friends who love the outdoors. Normally, he struggles as a Japanese office worker and faces the turbulent waves of society. In October 2020, he formed ASOBISIA after climbing a mountain one day, and opened Instagram and YouTube. On Instagram, his SUP photo in Miyagawa ranked first in the 2020 "Likes" ranking for Mie Tourism. This is a fledgling and active group.

“Chicken Star” was released in 2018 and gained popularity among mini theater fans through word of mouth. This time, the main cast continues, and the setting is revived in a way different from traditional sequels, giving birth to director Kanata Wolf's new work ``Chicken☆Phoenix''!

98% of the filming locations are in Ise-Shima, Mie (IseCity, TobaCity, ShimaCity, TamakiTown, WataraiTown, MinamiiseTown), so I hope that the warm atmosphere of Ise-Shima will reach all over the country. Masu!
This time, we visited and interviewed points of interest to ASOBISIA from among the filming locations in Ise-Shima! Now, let's go on a trip to the filming locations with Sota and us who have become musicians!
Setagawa
■Address: Near Funae 2-chome IseCity
The first filming location is the bridge that crosses the Seta River in Kawasaki, IseCity! The road isn't that wide, so I think we drove through this area in an open car during the photo shoot, which shows the dedication to creating a unique road!
Near this bridge is the Ise Kawasaki Merchant Hall, which is featured in Mie Tourism!⬇

*ASOBISIA chose a bridge over the Seta River that has a sidewalk and is safe for filming, but the actual bridge used in the movie is the one located right next to the "Ise Kawasaki Merchant Hall Parking Lot." .
#What is a journey...
A scene in which Sota asks the musician,"What is travel?"is recreated. Being able to become a character in a movie is the real thrill of visiting filming locations! What does a musician think of as a“journey”? Check out the movie!

#Everyone loves Akafukumochi Mochi
Akafukumochi mochi, which ASOBISIA also loves!Not only does it have a good taste with just the right amount of sweetness and a pleasant texture, but it also satisfies your soul with its beautiful three-striped pattern that resembles the clear waters of a river.
This distinctive pattern is not created using tools or machines, but is created one by one by the fingers of the craftsman! Only craftsmen who have been trained for over three years can offer this to customers!
In the movie, Sota and Rakuto are eating `` AkafukuIce,'' which is a very popular summer menu item. What is offered changes depending on the season! By the way, when ASOBISIAinterviewed us, we had the "Akafukumochi Zenzai" from the winter menu, and it was also delicious!
#Welcome to Ise
The large vermilion-painted stove in the photo is enshrined as the guardian deity of fire. The storefront fireplace is also a symbol of hospitality, and welcomes customers every day.

TobaCity Sea Museum

This is a museum about the sea and people that tells the history, present, and future of the close relationship with the sea by fishermen, ama divers, sailors, and people who live on the seashore called ``kaimin.''
At the entrance, there is a sign with a large Ama diver on it, welcoming you with a warm expression.

#New era museum architecture
Look at this ceiling. . !
The Maritime Museum has received various awards, including `` Japan's Top 100 Architectural Spaces'' and `` Nation's Top 100 Public Buildings,'' and is a magnificent building that Mie is proud of. Hiroshi Naito has created a warm space that incorporates natural scenery, and one of the features is that not only the exhibits but also the building itself is a highlight! This is amazing.
#Big catch, big catch! Daikichi!
During the trip, the musicians also had fun with the face panels. This place is called"Daikichi"and everyone who visits the museum is said to be Daikichi. . ! ? I really enjoyed ASOBISIA as well! lol
# Ama experience! ?
While Sota and Rakuto are having fun inside the museum, there's also a scene where they play with ama dolls! What kind of poses did the musicians pose in the play? Please take a closer look ^^
#80 ships
The highlight of the museum is the storage room (ship building), which is an important cultural property. More than 80 wooden ships collected from all over the country are on display! There were two people having fun among various types of wooden boats! Is this how you took the photo from here? It's fun to go around the filming locations while thinking about it ^^
#Purchase the “eel stuffed animal”!
This"stuffed eel"is an original product of the Maritime Museum, and is the most popular souvenir! Surprisingly, it seems that Arata Iura and Ryo Narita, who played the lead role, both purchased the `` eel and basket set''! ! This eel's face is so cute...lol. It's a very impressive item ^^
Hearing these behind-the-scenes stories is one of the fun parts of visiting filming locations ☆
Matsuo Kannonji Temple

The next place we visited was Matsuo Kannonji, which is said to be the oldest Kannon statue in Japan.
In "Chicken ☆ Phoenix",this is the temple that they stopped at while searching for the Phoenix.We have recreated the scene where the musician is asking the chief priest about the Phoenix!
Ise Shima Skyline

This driveway is highly recommended by Mie Prefecture residents, with many scenic points such as the Ichiuda Observatory in the photo and The Post in the sky, a famous Instagram spot!
A special panel of "Chicken☆Phoenix" is on display at the shop at Mt.Asama Observation Deck in the middle of the driveway, so be sure to check it out! (Exhibition hours: 9:00-17:00)

The store name ``FOLK FOLK'' is a place where FOLK (people)can meet, make vows, and dance their hearts out, and we want to provide a moving experience! It seems that the name was derived from this idea.
