Enjoy forest walks and hot springs in Misugi Town, which has been certified as a forest therapy base, and enjoy activities and experiences at MenardAoyamaResort Resort in AoyamaPlateau. At the end of the trip, you can also visit the spectacular scenery ♫

What is Murou Akame Aoyama Quasi-National Park?

Murou Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park, represented by TheAkame48Falls and AoyamaPlateau, is an area where you can enjoy both the majesty of the valley and the mountains.

For those who want to experience the variety of valleys that change with the seasons, we recommend the Akame/ KaochidaniValley area. You can feel nature as it is, with numerous waterfalls appearing in the deep forest and a landscape of rock formations with columnar joints.

If you want to feel the breeze in a gentle grassland, go AoyamaPlateau. The gentle undulations are perfect for hiking and touring, and the park near the top offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and Ise Bay, making it an area where the highland breeze feels pleasant.

If you want to enjoy mountain climbing and hiking in the series of mountains, then the Misugi/Iidaka area is the place to go. The Misugi area has been certified as the first ``Forest Therapy Base'' in the Tokai region, making it ideal for forest bathing to soothe the mind and body.

Forest walk in Misugi Town, a forest therapy base ♫ Relax in the fresh air!

The trip begins with a forest walk in Misugi-cho TsuCity City, which is certified by the Forestry Agency as a "forest therapy base."

The mountainous area in the western part of Misugi Town is designated as Murou Akame Aoyama Quasi-National Park, and the rest of the town is designated as Akame Isshikyo Prefectural Natural Park, and approximately 90% of the town is forested. There are several forest therapy bases in the town, but this time we'll start at the foot of the "Santaki Cherry Blossoms", which was selected as one of the "100 Cherry Blossom Spots"!

The avenue lined with more than 500 wild cherry trees that stretches for approximately 1.5km all the way to the approach to Shinpuku-in is an amazing sight! From early summer to early October, you can also see a beautiful green tunnel surrounded by cherry blossoms.

Now, let's start walking!

Walking while bathing your whole body in the negative ions emitted from the trees is very pleasant, and the environment is so quiet that you can hear the chirping of birds, so you can forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's like my heart is being purified.

After walking for about 30 minutes, you will arrive at a hill that offers a panoramic view of the area.

There was a scene that made me realize once again that the town is surrounded by forests and mountains.

In spring, you can see the spectacular view of cherry blossoms reflected in the rice terraces, and tourists from all over Japan come to see the beautiful sight of the cherry blossoms.

The approach to Shinpuku-in Temple was just beyond the above view, and the vermilion Sanmon gate visible through the gap between the two large cedar trees was very mysterious!

If you walk further from here, you will reach the summit of Mt. Oborayama, but this time we will turn back halfway along the mountain trail and enjoy a 2-hour forest walk! I was able to refresh my body and mind by bathing in the delicious air and negative ions.

Lunch time at Hidamari, an exchange facility located at the end of the JR Meimatsu Line! Taste the famous Matsu Line bento using local ingredients ♫

Since we had been walking a lot since morning, we moved to Hidamari, a tourist information and exchange facility in front of TsuCity Ise-Okutsu Station, which is about a 20-minute drive from Mitaki no Sakura, and it was time for lunch!

This is a tourist information center adjacent to Ise-Okutsu Station, the last stop on the JR Meimatsu Line. The facility includes an area where you can gather information about Misugi Town, a sales area for local products, and a rest space that can be used for eat-ins. .

I immediately looked around the specialty product sales area and found Misugi tea and candied amago!

In fact, Misugi Town is a region where tea leaf production is popular, and amago farming is also popular in the clear stream "kumozu" that flows through the town.

I was interested in the "Meisho Line Bento" produced by the local Hisai Agriculture and Forestry High School, so I decided to try it at the rest area

The bento box includes cooked rice and side dishes made with local ingredients, and of course the taste is outstanding! Local people work together to provide delicious delicacies from the Satoyama area. That's a wonderful initiative.

The atmosphere was such that I was able to enjoy interacting with the staff and locals, such as being served Misugi tea, and I was soothed by the warmth and comfort that can only be found in the countryside!

By the way, what is Meimatsu Line, which is also the name of the bento?, A 43.5km local line connecting MatsusakaCity and Misugicho, TsuCity About From the train window, you can see the countryside in all four seasons. It's attractive to be

This time we will be traveling by car, but we also recommend taking the Meimatsu Line and enjoying the countryside, getting off at the last stop and taking a leisurely stroll around Misugi Town! There are beautiful rivers and stylish old folk house cafes in the surrounding area ♫

*At Hidamari, we offer free rental of electrically assisted bicycles.

Heal your tired body from walking at MisugiResort Hinotani Onsen ♫ Enjoy a rare beer bath!

After working up a sweat during the forest walk, head to the natural hot spring "MisugiResort Hinotani Onsen".

This is a `` hot spring resort'' surrounded by the rich nature of Misugi Town, and you can enjoy the proud natural hot springs not only for overnight stays but also for day trips.

I immediately enteredthe open-air bath and slowly soaked up to my shoulders while looking at the beautiful nature♪ The spring quality is hydrogen carbonate spring, and it is characterized by making your skin smooth!

When I went to the indoor bath, I discovered a "beer bath" that is rare in the world! MisugiResort is said to be the ``first in Japan.''

Real beer is poured every 30 minutes, making this hot spring a must-see for beer lovers who can enjoy the dark color and aroma of barley!

* Don't worry, the alcohol content will be diluted to nearly 0%.

The reason why such a bath was created is because MisugiResort produces Hinotani Beer, a local beer brewed with Misugi's natural water!

This beer has been recognized for its ability, including"NINJA BEER," which has won awards at international beer fairs and been selected for the Mie Selection. If you are interested, you can purchase them at the shop inside the facility.

I can't get enough of a luxurious drink after getting out of the hot springs ♪

Let's spend an elegant time at "MenardAoyamaResort" surrounded by the magnificent nature of AoyamaPlateau ♪

After relaxing in the hot springs, we will head to MenardAoyamaResort Resort, where we will be staying for the day.

This is a resort space surrounded by the magnificent nature of AoyamaPlateau, with a vast site spanning over 1 million tsubo that includes a hotel, hot springs, esthetics, indoor heated pool, golf course, herb garden, experience workshop, etc. , has a variety of experience facilities.

Located at an altitude of 600m, it is also the highest resort facility in Mie Prefecture!

After checking in, we will head to the herb garden inside the resort!

This is a place where various herbs and flowers such as chamomile bloom depending on the season, and on this day (June), lavender was blooming.

A beautiful purple scene spreads all around, and the faint scent of lavender is very soothing. Because the environment is cool throughout the year, you can see rare varieties of plants that are rarely seen in the flatlands.

After relaxing in the herb garden, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

There are many restaurants on the premises, and in addition to Kaiseki, French cuisine, and creative cuisine, you can enjoy a variety of meals depending on your mood that day, such as barbecue in the summer and hotpot in the winter.

This time, enjoy French cuisine at the restaurant "La Glace"! I was able to enjoy fragrant French cuisine using herbs grown in the herb garden while watching the illuminations♪

After getting full from dinner, I headed back to the herb garden. This time I will enjoy stargazing.

There are no buildings around that will obstruct your view, and there are almost no city lights, so you can see the starry sky at night.

After stargazing, let's warm up in the hotel's hot spring!

There is ``Koraku-no-Yu,'' where you can enjoy the scent of freshly picked herbs, and `` Miyabi-no-Yu,'' an open-air cypress bath where you can gaze at the starry sky. Both are hot springs that have an outstanding relaxing effect with their scent and hot bath.

Please warm up your body while being healed by the scent.

Experience pottery at the craft workshop at MenardAoyamaResort! Let's make your own original tableware♪

The next morning, enjoy a pottery experience at the craft workshop inside the resort!

You can enjoy the charm of pottery where you knead the clay yourself and create the shape you want ♫

This time, we will try the "hand making course" using a hand potter's wheel!

You can freely choose what you want to make, from rice bowls to hot water cups, etc., and the instructors will provide careful guidance, so even those who are new to pottery can rest assured.

Complete your original tableware in about 90 minutes!

It's perfect as a souvenir from your trip!

*The instructor will perform the grilling.

Enjoy delicious soba noodles at the handmade soba restaurant "Kiryuan"! This is a masterpiece with great attention to detail, from the material to the container.

After the pottery experience, it's time for lunch at the handmade soba restaurant "Kiryuan" in the resort.

The inside of the store is filled with the warmth of wood and is extremely comfortable!

This time, I will order the recommended menu,
"Zaru Soba".

At this restaurant, the soba noodles are made using natural water from AoyamaPlateau, and the buckwheat flour is directly purchased from Kaida Plateau, one of Japan's leading soba production areas, so you can enjoy soba that has been carefully selected from top to bottom.

This shop is open even if you are not staying at the hotel, so please stop by when you come to AoyamaPlateau!

Enjoy putter golf in the midst of nature! Playing in a spacious location is the best♪

After enjoying delicious soba noodles, enjoy a round of putter golf at the resort!

There are a total of 18 holes on a spacious grounds with a total length of 430 yards, so you can enjoy playing to your heart's content.

Playing putter golf in a highland location surrounded by nature while feeling a pleasant breeze felt even more exhilarating than usual.

Panoramic view of windmills and Ise Bay from the triangulation point of AoyamaPlateau! Enjoy the spectacular scenery that is the perfect way to end your trip ♪

After enjoying plenty of putter golf at MenardAoyamaResort, drive about 50 minutes to an area where you can see a spectacular view of windmills.

There are many things to see, but the first place I visited was the view from the parking lot at AoyamaPlateau Triangle Point.

From this location, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful mountains and Ise Bay. The wind blowing through is very pleasant and you can feel it all over your body, refreshing both your mind and body ♫

Next we will head towards the trig point, but the views from the hills along the way are also exceptional!

The cityscape of TsuCity spreads out below you, making you feel like you're walking in the air ♫

When you arrive at the trig point, you will be greeted with a spectacular view of countless windmills. I'm sure it will take your breath away from its beauty.

After enjoying the spectacular scenery that is a perfect way to end your trip, you will head back home.

It was a one-night, two-day trip where I was able to enjoy the great nature of TsuCity cho, Tsu City, and AoyamaPlateau to my heart's content ♫
