Kumano Kodo is a world heritage site and one of the rare roads in the world. The cultural landscape that has nurtured various forms of faith, including Shinto, Buddhism, and Shugendo, has been registered as a World Heritage Site as the "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes of the Kii Mountains."
Kumano Kodo Iseji, located in Mie Prefecture, is a prayer path taken by people visiting the Kumano Sanzan from IseJingu. The road is so famous that the saying, ``Seven times in Ise, three times in Kumano'' is a metaphor for the depth of faith.
There are 17 courses in total, allowing you to enjoy a variety of scenery, including a course with stone pavement and cypress forests, a course with a panoramic view of the Kumano Sea from a mountain pass, and a course with a view of Japan's best rice terraces.

The Kumanogawa course is recommended as it offers a rare experience. We will travel on the Kumano River, which is registered as a World Heritage Site as the world's only ``river pilgrimage route'', on three-sided sails.
